Prescott Golf Club

I have played this course a number of times the most recent was Sunday Oct. 1, 2017. The course was in excellent condition the day I played. The only complaint were the bunkers on many holes had standing water in them so the ball had to be moved around to find a place to hit out. There are a number of challenging holes, especially the par threes on the back. Both are uphill and long from the white tees. The last hole, a par five, is also a challenge since the fairway narrows toward the approach with a pond on the left and a giant willow on the right. Your second shot is key on this hole. Overall, this course is fun to play and the clubhouse staff are friendly and professional.

Great course. Fairways and greens were in wonderful conditions. Club house personnel were friendly and helpful.

In generally good condition. Some rough spots. Greens putted quickly and true. Very windy the day I played.

The cashiers / customer service for check in and getting players started needs a lot of work. Almost every time I go there the experience of starting the round is a fiasco. Sometimes they don't call me when it's the tee time. They don't announce on-deck so there is no warning. I have been scheduled with other golfers, and they tee off, and I'm left without. I've learned to watch the time and check with the cashier a few minutes before my scheduled tee time. Sometimes I have been scheduled alone, and they'll send out groups of 2 or 3 players and not try to put a single in with the short group. It is not a very competent or fun experience.

We played a twilight round at 4:00 pm to avoid the heat! We've played the course three times now as we drive up from Phoenix. The weather is always so much better in Prescott. Greens were in fantastic shape (10 stimp) and the course is always nicely groomed. We will play this course as often as possible as it's so much more scenic than anything in the desert!!

I play this course twice weekly and consider it a best buy in golf today. We have several choices in the area but none top this one with its pristine conditions. It may well be a bit short for the expert golfer but for seniors and weekenders it is outstanding.

The course was beautiful and they waved the rider policy for two year old Natalie!! She loved everything.

The fairways and greens were beautiful. Lots of pretty trees and very well maintained. Greta for the price!!

Nice maintenance, lush fairways, plenty of big fairways. Course is fairly plain Jane as far as layout and design, but is in nice condition. If you want to play golf and not have to be frustrated in chasing down lost golf balls, this is the place to play in Prescott.

First time playing this course, and I found it interesting, and a good value for the money. Overall the course was in good shape- the fairways and greens were all fair to the player. By far, the most challenging hole is #18, a dogleg right par 5, with a large tree and water guarding the green. I would recommend this course to anyone!

I haven't played the course for 4 years. All the things that I didn't care for 4 years ago are still pretty much the same. Especially the condition of the traps and bunkers... if they're dryit like hitting off hard pan.., if wet they're usually casual water or worse when they should have drained.

This is a good layout has some pretty easy holes and some pretty tough holes. I would recommend this course to anyone.

The course was in good shape. There was a woman's league in front of us but we played in 4 hours so you can't complain about that. As busy as it was we were surprised there were no food or beverage options. No water on the course so you could not even fill up a bottle of water. Sign says no food or beverages allowed but apparently they don't want to sell you any as well.
