About
Located in Green Valley just a short drive south of Tucson, lies San Ignacio Golf Club. An Arthur Hills design, San Ignacio features well placed grass bunkers, dynamically shaped Bermuda fairways and some of the smoothest greens in Arizona. Known for the friendly nature of the course and the staff, San Ignacio is a favorite among the locals from the retirement community of Green Valley and nearby Tucson. The way the course rests naturally among the canyons, ridges and arroyos of the Santa Cruz River Valley pays tribute to the desert and the commanding views of the surrounding mountains. But be aware, the course can play very tight and any errant shot can fall short into many waiting greenside bunkers.

Even though I only gave the course a three star rating, it was only because they had it just aerated the greens, but I’m sure in a couple weeks. It’s gonna be a beautiful.
Dry
This is a very good course but is summer in AZ ...areas of the fairways were dried out. Greens and tee boxes were in good condition.

Always a treat to play
Played five rounds when here for a couple weeks. As usual course in great condition other than crappy bunkers still. One of my favorite courses to play no matter the time of year

Great Layout, Staff, Restaurant/bar
Favorite Green Valley course. Unique, interesting holes, typically in great shape. Fairways just punched, patchy and greens in transition, so understandably course atypical of usual outstanding condition. It's that time of year. Still very worthwhile. Great restaurant and bar.

baked Arizona golf.
The fairways were half brown! The greens were bad, no consistency. One green was slow and the next was fast, so on and so on. Maintenance crew was aerating during play, how weak is that!!! If they were a decent course, they would refund our money. wont play there again!!!!!!!!

Friendly staff great course condition
Great time playing. One of friends first time playing this course Took a little bit to convince him since he usually plays Tucson courses. He was impressed how nice it is overall. Definitely playing here more often
