About
Located in Green Valley just a short drive south of Tucson, lies San Ignacio Golf Club. An Arthur Hills design, San Ignacio features well placed grass bunkers, dynamically shaped Bermuda fairways and some of the smoothest greens in Arizona. Known for the friendly nature of the course and the staff, San Ignacio is a favorite among the locals from the retirement community of Green Valley and nearby Tucson. The way the course rests naturally among the canyons, ridges and arroyos of the Santa Cruz River Valley pays tribute to the desert and the commanding views of the surrounding mountains. But be aware, the course can play very tight and any errant shot can fall short into many waiting greenside bunkers.

Great course
Great course, greens were very nice to play. Challenging holes but not too bad.
Great Layout, Staff, Restaurant/bar
Favorite Green Valley course. Unique, interesting holes, typically in great shape. Fairways just punched, patchy and greens in transition, so understandably course atypical of usual outstanding condition. It's that time of year. Still very worthwhile. Great restaurant and bar.

baked Arizona golf.
The fairways were half brown! The greens were bad, no consistency. One green was slow and the next was fast, so on and so on. Maintenance crew was aerating during play, how weak is that!!! If they were a decent course, they would refund our money. wont play there again!!!!!!!!

Friendly staff great course condition
Great time playing. One of friends first time playing this course Took a little bit to convince him since he usually plays Tucson courses. He was impressed how nice it is overall. Definitely playing here more often

Favorite Southern AZ course
San Ignacio does it again. Absolutely beautiful course with pure conditions and great amenities. Great practice facility. Great pro shop and grill. Mix of tough and simple holes to challenge golfers of all skill levels. Greens roll true, fairways are pure, few dry patches scattered but that’s AZ golf for ya. Pace of play was perfect. Never ran into another group the entire 18 despite it being Saturday morning. Wildlife is abundant, saw roadrunners, ground squirrels, javelina and bobcat during our round. Always worth the 45 min drive from Tucson.

Greens !
Greens are in poor shape ! Hope in the next couple months the issue is addressed!

Course as e overall os in good shape.
The only thing is that the greens were a little slower than we are used to playing there.
