About
Located in Green Valley just a short drive south of Tucson, lies San Ignacio Golf Club. An Arthur Hills design, San Ignacio features well placed grass bunkers, dynamically shaped Bermuda fairways and some of the smoothest greens in Arizona. Known for the friendly nature of the course and the staff, San Ignacio is a favorite among the locals from the retirement community of Green Valley and nearby Tucson. The way the course rests naturally among the canyons, ridges and arroyos of the Santa Cruz River Valley pays tribute to the desert and the commanding views of the surrounding mountains. But be aware, the course can play very tight and any errant shot can fall short into many waiting greenside bunkers.

Golf Cart really equipped
Really nice having the cart with cooler/ice, ball and clubs cleaning attachments, and the course with a great and challenging layout. The staff is pretty friendly and attentive

Very good desert course
Well manicured and maintained desert course with gorgeous elevation holes. Staff is extremely courteous and helpful. Wonderful people to deal with and I highly reccommend this course for all levels of golfers.

Considering the long heat wave that's lasted for weeks, the course was in better than expected. Lots of hydration helped keep us focused and we all had fun!

Summer Golf
we teed off early about 6 40 am, played in 3.5 hrs. Summer conditions were good seeing how little rain we have had. Greens and fairways had been aerated but very playable. They seem to be putting money back into the course with renovations. Best value and best course in Green Valley

San Ignacio
Played back 9 twice due to maintenance on the front. Greens bumpy effecting putting. Generally good condition otherwise.

One of the best semi-private courses in the tucson area
One of my favorites in the greater Tucson area - 45 mins from central Tucson is always worth it! Even during these last several 100+ degree days, the course, from Tee to green is in great shape.
