About
Located in Green Valley just a short drive south of Tucson, lies San Ignacio Golf Club. An Arthur Hills design, San Ignacio features well placed grass bunkers, dynamically shaped Bermuda fairways and some of the smoothest greens in Arizona. Known for the friendly nature of the course and the staff, San Ignacio is a favorite among the locals from the retirement community of Green Valley and nearby Tucson. The way the course rests naturally among the canyons, ridges and arroyos of the Santa Cruz River Valley pays tribute to the desert and the commanding views of the surrounding mountains. But be aware, the course can play very tight and any errant shot can fall short into many waiting greenside bunkers.

Always worth it
Love playing this course. It is getting a little dry and firm due to ten heat of the summer but the greens are always in great shape. Only complaint would be the bunkers and there is no beverage cart. Other than that it’s an amazing deal during the summer. Also, best driving range in the area!

Enjoyable day
Course in good shape. Greens were excellent and fairways pretty good for the time of year. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Excellent day!!

Tee time booking
The course was great. The weather perfect. Few people in the pm.
The online booking needs some improvement. When I booked online, using my account, I assumed all was OK when I got the confirmation. Not so. I had to go to the office to make the payment, which I had assumed was taken care of.

Great course
This is my favorite course in the Tucson area. Tee boxes are located for every skill level. Staff is friendly and the course is in great condition.

Secret treasure
If you’ve never played this course, put it on your list. The greens are in great shape. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. It has many mountain views, and Valley views.
