About
Located in Green Valley just a short drive south of Tucson, lies San Ignacio Golf Club. An Arthur Hills design, San Ignacio features well placed grass bunkers, dynamically shaped Bermuda fairways and some of the smoothest greens in Arizona. Known for the friendly nature of the course and the staff, San Ignacio is a favorite among the locals from the retirement community of Green Valley and nearby Tucson. The way the course rests naturally among the canyons, ridges and arroyos of the Santa Cruz River Valley pays tribute to the desert and the commanding views of the surrounding mountains. But be aware, the course can play very tight and any errant shot can fall short into many waiting greenside bunkers.

Nice track, BUT
Pace of Play was horrendous. When advising Ranger that there was a 10 minute wait on every tee due to twosome hitting from Red tees continued to wait until group in front had reached green, the Ranger just nodded, smiled and drove off, never to be seen the rest of the round.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback as we will use your review to better the experience going forward. We hope you give us another try in the near future!
Fair but challenging
This course is kept in excellent condition. The staff are friendly and helpful. The course ranger keeps the pace moving. This is the second time I've played here. The first time my buddy and I were paired with a couple of very good women golfers that were lots of fun to share a round with.

LOVE THIS COURSE!
We love to play this course a couple of times a year. The course just keeps getting better each time. EXCEPT the bunkers. When will they add sand???

It was close to 100 degrees outside and it was nice to have an ice filled cooler on the cart and cold water on the course. Other than the heat a great day

Great course
San Ignacio is in great shape. The faculty has a full staff that are friendly and very professional. It's restaurant is great with great indoor and outdoor spaces to eat.

First visit to this course
The course lived up to what I had read in the reviews. Course in very good condition. Only difficulty playing that day was the weather in the high 50s and very strong winds. Look forward to visiting again on my next trip to Tucson

Worth the drive from Nebraska
This is one of my favorite courses in the Tucson area. Always treated well by the friendly staff and fully enjoy the course.
