About
Located in Green Valley just a short drive south of Tucson, lies San Ignacio Golf Club. An Arthur Hills design, San Ignacio features well placed grass bunkers, dynamically shaped Bermuda fairways and some of the smoothest greens in Arizona. Known for the friendly nature of the course and the staff, San Ignacio is a favorite among the locals from the retirement community of Green Valley and nearby Tucson. The way the course rests naturally among the canyons, ridges and arroyos of the Santa Cruz River Valley pays tribute to the desert and the commanding views of the surrounding mountains. But be aware, the course can play very tight and any errant shot can fall short into many waiting greenside bunkers.

Great afternoon! A little delayed teeing off - waiting for shotgun tournament to end. We were first off after tournament and played in 3:20 minutes - felt like we had the course to ourselves! Course in great condition as always, love San Ignacio!

Great Staff
This was our first time but it certainly won't be our last. Everyone we met was very friendly and helpful and wanted to make sure we enjoyed our day. The course is great fun with many different challenges and elevation changes. We highly recommenr it!

5 Stars all around
Played 18 holes with an 11:36 tee time. First off, the course is in great condition! Fairways, greens and bunkers! The greens were quick and firm, but receptive to iron approach shots with enough spin. The fairways were near perfect, with roll for days. I can testify that the bunkers are excellent as I found several. They all were excellent and it was actually fun to hit some good shots, even had two Sandies.
We teed off right on time and played in 4:15, more waiting than I'd like but not awful for a later tee time.
I really like this course and feel it's a good value. Just wish there was more landing area on the left side off the tees on holes 9 and 14, as the risks presently far outweigh the rewards. Other than that I think it's a great layout with awesome conditions and value. The driving range and practice area is top notch, and really well maintained as the grass is consistently excellent. The golfing staff are friendly and attentive, really great! Same goes for the staff at the bar and Coyote Grill!

Stop Using Golf Now
This will probably be my last time using Golf Now for golf vacation. Had an 11:28 tee time and called them because there was snow. They said the course was closed, but might open later if if the snow melts. Went there at 1:00 and found course open, but they said they couldn't credit my Golf Now payment. Had to pay again, but told me to call Golf Now to get a credit. Spent inordinate amount of time trying to find a successful way to call Golf Now. Not able to find any number and their "chat" didn't work. Too risky to use!

Enjoyable round
Did enjoyed golf at San Ignacio. Staff very Plesant and efficient. Not really happy with paying $22.24 for online tee time selection. Would be happier if just calling pro shop to set up tee times and not pay so much.

Area Favorite Course
Played 3 different courses in the area this week and have played 3 others in the past. Of the 6 courses this was my favorite. Great layout, course including the traps were in good condition. Course has some very interesting holes with significant elevation changes that also provide some great views of the surrounding area. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. liked the course so much that I played it twice during my stay in the area. Will definitely want to play this course again when in the area. Just wish I had found this course the first time I was in the area.

Slow Ride
While one of the best courses in the area, it could be much better if they’d provide an on- course ranger to keep golfers on pace. The elderly group in front of our foursome was 2 holes behind the previous group and the front nine took 2 hours, twenty minutes! Finally, we skipped #14 and drove ahead of them to #15.
