About
Located in Green Valley just a short drive south of Tucson, lies San Ignacio Golf Club. An Arthur Hills design, San Ignacio features well placed grass bunkers, dynamically shaped Bermuda fairways and some of the smoothest greens in Arizona. Known for the friendly nature of the course and the staff, San Ignacio is a favorite among the locals from the retirement community of Green Valley and nearby Tucson. The way the course rests naturally among the canyons, ridges and arroyos of the Santa Cruz River Valley pays tribute to the desert and the commanding views of the surrounding mountains. But be aware, the course can play very tight and any errant shot can fall short into many waiting greenside bunkers.

Fun golf day
What a beautiful course
Day started off nicely because all of the staff members do an excellent job & are very friendly and helpful
Course is challenging and in very good condition
Very nice layout
Met our wife's after round at Coyote Grill and had an excellent meal and again staff was excellent and always smiling

Tough to Beat
This is a wonderful course. It is in great shape and the holes are interesting and challenging. There are elevated tee boxes with beautiful views and difficult par threes. I have watched this course improve every year for the last five years and now is the time to play it. Don't miss the opportunity if you are in the Green Valley area. It is definitely worth the drive down from Tucson.

Played San Ignacio and had a wonderful experience! Course is in great shape, greens putt well and wonderful views of the Santa Rita Mountains. Clubhouse staff are outstanding! San Ignacio is our favorite course in the Green Valley area.

San Ignaitio
Very good course with mid range prices. Excellent mountain views with a number or challenging holes. Good bar for after round drinks - patio has best view in Green Valley.

Great Golf
Played San Ignacio with another couple. The course is challenging and has fast greens that roll good.
Great day of golf starting with breakfast sandwiches to-go from the restaurant.

FIX YOUR BALL MARKS!
Love this layout. Staff is super-friendly. Still totally baffled by the failure of golfers (assume most are members or locals) to repair ball marks on greens. It wasn't quite as bad as last time we played here, but still shows a lack of respect for the course and fellow golfers - and I don't think you can blame this one on "less experienced" golfers who don't know any better. Painfully slow POP on a Saturday afternoon, but prolly on par with what we paid.

Nice course
Nice course, but it shows the amount of traffic it gets. Most of the par 3 tees are pretty torn up. The greens don’t look great, however they putt true. Still, it’s a fun, interesting course to play.

San Ignatio First Time Playing
My brother-in-law and I played this course on a very nice winter day in January. The course is not super long but requires accuracy for scoring. Since we didn't have course knowledge, we made some errors that we will avoid the next time we play here.
