About
Located in Green Valley just a short drive south of Tucson, lies San Ignacio Golf Club. An Arthur Hills design, San Ignacio features well placed grass bunkers, dynamically shaped Bermuda fairways and some of the smoothest greens in Arizona. Known for the friendly nature of the course and the staff, San Ignacio is a favorite among the locals from the retirement community of Green Valley and nearby Tucson. The way the course rests naturally among the canyons, ridges and arroyos of the Santa Cruz River Valley pays tribute to the desert and the commanding views of the surrounding mountains. But be aware, the course can play very tight and any errant shot can fall short into many waiting greenside bunkers.

Good winter golf
The course challenges w/o being brutal.
Greens fast and smooth, hold a shot. Bunkers still a bit firm, clubs bottom out on green side shots.
Moved along with help from ranger who was present throughout our round. Just over four hours, good considering distance between holes.
Nice clubhouse with bar and good restaurant.
Excellent practice area. Getting better all the time.
Best public access course in Green Valley, IMHO.

Still one of the best in area
Great shape, round a bit slow but not overly. Just golfed elsewhere today and recommended the course to a visitor from Las Cruces staying in Tucson.

Great Shape
First time at this course, really in near perfect condition, greens, tee boxes, and fairways are all ready to play. Really enjoyed the layout and the price was good for this time of year on Tucson. I don't like the 8 minute tee times, but that is part of winter golf. Course was full, but pace of play was decent, finished in just over 4 hours.

Best golf course in Green Valley
San Ignacio is the best golf course in Green Valley, not only for the price but the condition of the course. The greens are fast but true, the fairways are lush and there is sand in the bunkers !!
