About
Located in Green Valley just a short drive south of Tucson, lies San Ignacio Golf Club. An Arthur Hills design, San Ignacio features well placed grass bunkers, dynamically shaped Bermuda fairways and some of the smoothest greens in Arizona. Known for the friendly nature of the course and the staff, San Ignacio is a favorite among the locals from the retirement community of Green Valley and nearby Tucson. The way the course rests naturally among the canyons, ridges and arroyos of the Santa Cruz River Valley pays tribute to the desert and the commanding views of the surrounding mountains. But be aware, the course can play very tight and any errant shot can fall short into many waiting greenside bunkers.

Perfect Condition
We have been playing this course for over 30 years.. It amazed us how well all the trees on the course had
been trimmed back completely on all 18 holes.

Terrible Greens
I always liked this course. It is usually in good shape and wide open for full shot off every tee without fear. My only complaint is the greens. There are hundreds of ball marks on every green. No one seem to repair their ball marks. One should not complain if he/she does not repair his/her ball mark.

Best green valley course
This is by far my favorite grown valley course.. greens are always in good shape. Great challenging layout . Always lots of wildlife along the course. Epic views.

Rough is too short. Everything runs off into the desert. Copy the grass at Quarry Pines.

A great value course
Love this course!! Great price, great condition!
Staff is very helpful in pro shop and bar/restaurant. One of the few Pro shops we can find nice 3XL shirts.

Fun Course to Play
Second time playing. Layout has lots of character, with changes in elevation and several blind shots. Somewhat narrow. Challenging but fair. Course has some really nice views.

Greens somewhat fast, hold ok. A few bunkers still a bit firm but overall good. Pace excellent, 4 hours.
More inviting and friendly than Canoa Ranch.
Faster pace and better layout than Haven.
Better conditioned than Torres Blancas.
Generous and welcoming staff, great post round bar.
Good range, best overall Green Valley course. Just challenging enough for day players, hit it straight and not humbling. Continue to play here, trying to figure it out….fun day.
