Located in Green Valley just a short drive south of Tucson, lies San Ignacio Golf Club. An Arthur Hills design, San Ignacio features well placed grass bunkers, dynamically shaped Bermuda fairways and some of the smoothest greens in Arizona. Known for the friendly nature of the course and the staff, San Ignacio is a favorite among the locals from the retirement community of Green Valley and nearby Tucson. The way the course rests naturally among the canyons, ridges and arroyos of the Santa Cruz River Valley pays tribute to the desert and the commanding views of the surrounding mountains. But be aware, the course can play very tight and any errant shot can fall short into many waiting greenside bunkers.

I’ve been playing since May 2024 so I am anything but a duffer at this time. Non, I decided to take on this reputable course. I found this course to be deceptively challenging. If you seek to test yourself, this course will place you in the balance to see if you are wanting. Beautiful fun course

The course was a very pleasant surprise. Great conditions and had some very fun holes. Greens were decently fast and in great condition. Fairways are generous enough and the rough while not really very rough is wide enough to keep ball out of the desert areas. I would definitely highly recommend this course and will play it again. We played with a guy who is from the area and he said it is the best course in the area.

Great course- January course condition was outstanding. I enjoyed the perspective from almost every hole- distinct fairways lined with desert or trees, changing terrain throughout. Fairly forgiving if you are not always straight.
