Always a good time
Lived in the area for 18 years and never made it out to Whitmore until a year ago. Its fast becoming a regular in my rotation. What a little gem this course is. Well maintained. Fun to play, and scoreable. Great beverages out on the deck after play. Lots of variety from hole to hole. What I like the most is that its the kind of course that you can hit Driver off the tee on almost every par 4 or 5.

Nice Course for the Money
Bring some extra balls if you can't hit your drive straight! Your tee shot sets up the rest of your play to the hole. Several dog leg holes and a few blind shots that will be very challenging if you haven't played the course before so play close attention to the scorecard. You'll want to bring some bug spray for back nine holes if you're smart. All in all it's a nice course and fun challenge with a friendly staff. Reasonable prices also! Have Fun!

Some repairs are necessary
Generally the course is well maintained and fair. With a variety of tee locations for all level of play. There is one glaring hole #13. The teeing ground is in a wetland and the solution is tees above the wet areas supported on decking. The actual teeing surface is ??. You can't push a tee into it unless you have a metal tee and a hammer to drive it in. This course deserves to have this and all the bridges over the wetlands repaired. There are sagging areas and loose boards in the tiire path.

Birthday at the Links
This is one of our favorite courses in the area due to a combination of shot making requirements and overall layout. Fairways offer good lies an do not punish you for a good shot. Sand traps were in good condition, unfortunately i had to test them. Staff is very friendly, beverage cart came up missing though. Carts are all nice and in good condition. Food offerings perfect for the turn. Cost is a bit high compared to other local courses, though.
