Beaver Dam Lodge, Golf & RV Resort
About
Situated in the strip of northern Arizona, Beaver Dam Lodge Golf Course enjoys stunning mountain surroundings. The lush setting provides a stark contrast to the bordering desert landscape. Built in 1931, the lodge has housed many celebrities over the years including John Wayne, Howard Hughes, and Jack Benny. It is just 90 miles northeast of Las Vegas. The course is a nine-hole executive layout that is a great place for beginners and juniors. More advanced players will enjoy the short game practice it offers. The layout consists entirely of par 3s. Century-old cottonwood trees shade the course and are also strategically positioned along the fairways. The golf course runs alongside the Beaver Dam wash from which it gets its name. With luck, golfers will see a beaver busily building a dam.

This place is worth the visit from the staff to the course it was great! I've played this course many times and cant get enough of it, ever since the flood that took away the other 9 holes, this course came back a lot for what its been through and having 9 holes to play this is a blessing, its growing each day so come play! and lets make it better! A+ rating!
Run to St.George better Golf
As one who has managed hotels in the Silicon Valley, Boise and have a degree in Hospitality Management plus my Director of Sales background, this is definitely not a place I would EVER STAY, nor would I recommend working for someone that is extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. Yes, it's a beautiful area and property. Hospitality consists of being hospitable. It consists of listening and "not speaking over" another.
I was extremely blown away by the General Manger. Her professionalism showed lack of.
Unless she is an owner, I'd find another.
Don't waste your time or money
My wife and I played on a nice day. We walked the course which was a mistake if you don't want mud and geese droppings all over you and your equipment. The course was not marked at all so you had to navigate to the next tee box through the mud and geese droppings. To pay $15 each for a course that could be good but is poorly maintained is not worth the money. Signing up at the counter was a negative experience to start. We felt they really didn't care if we were there or not. Not recommended - ever.
Pleasantly surprised by this par three course. Beautiful setting with mature trees. Greens well maintained.
