About

Located about an hour northeast of Las Vegas, Conestoga Golf Course tumbles across the desert canyons and arroyos of Mesquite. Gary Panks, the course's designer, wanted to create a course that looked as though it had been forged over time by nature. By utilizing the desert landscaping and natural washes, the result was a stunning layout that is as scenic as it is challenging. The rolling topography covers a range of elevation changes, providing not only tricky uneven lies but also views of the surrounding canyons. The course is enhanced even further with interesting rock outcroppings that are interspersed across the landscape and several different water features. In addition to the natural hazards, Panks incorporated over 50 strategically placed bunkers throughout Conestoga Golf Course. It is formidable, but the course has five sets of tees to accommodate a wide range of skill levels.

Unique golf course

We played this course Saturday morning. The front nine had a couple of very unique holes and it definitely benefited us being paired with a local couple. The back line was a little more forgiving. Of course within in great condition and the greens were very fair. I would definitely recommend this course if anyone visiting Mesquite. Although I would be careful coming in July cause it was 110°.

First time playing this course, wow not sure how I’ve missed it. A real gem. Played this and wolf creek, have to say I liked Conestoga better. Great condition, great staff, and really nice restaurant to have lunch after.

The folks have done a nice improving the course conditions. Best conditions I have played at that course. Last time I played it 4 years ago I was never going to play it again but with the improved conditions it well worth a look.

Very nice

I thought the course was very challenging and in good shape. The green had been recently sanded making them a bit difficult and slow but okay. Clubhouse is nice and good food.

Tough but fun course

A couple holes were toigh and i got into trouble especially since i had not played and they do not have gps on cart. Overall good place to play.

Hidden Gem!!

Great track! Staff is excellent! From Jose taking care of your golf clubs in the front. Also Rob; 1st tee Marshall, explaining the layout on holes 4&6. Thanks again for the great advice, sir! Definitely coming back soon!!

Revenue & Tee Time Dilemma

The course is fantastic, the price? Don’t pay for a tee time after 12pm. Several attempts to finish this course before sun down have been unsuccessful. I’ve never played 17 & 18 and never will as I’ll pay more for surrounding courses where I’ll actually play the 18 I paid for.

Conestoga has to stop stuffing the tee sheet at these prices which makes it impossible to finish.
