Bellair Golf Park
About
Bellair Golf Park in addition to being a good place to practice one's short game it also tests accuracy with long irons. The course aptly tests control over the ball with the irons. Par 4s make up over half the hole at this executive length golf course. Every one of the greens are heavily bunkered and water hazards come into play on a few holes as well. It is close to a residential area but that only creates more narrow fairways, adding more challenge to the game. The course is well shaded and also well maintained, but play can be slow on occasion. Bellair Golf Park offers many discounts, including a twilight discount, a super twilight discount, and there is also an early morning special.

Great First Experience
This course is going to be an absolute gem when they're done. Excellent facilities, super friendly and helpful staff.
Formerly friendly and affordable course.. no more
I reviewed this previously for this round regarding the rude treatment of the management. Now looking at my receipts, I also see that they ripped us off.
WE booked a twosome through Golfnow which included a cart. They charged us $20 each for a cart and I didn't actually notice until I just found the receipt in my wallet.
They also charged 2 taxes. One sales tax and one "Amusement tax." What was supposed to be a $54 round for two of us, became an $80 round.
Watch out for this place. IT's in horrible condition, management is very rude, and they will rip you off.
Making progredd
Tees are improved. Traps are a mess. Work is being done. But this work interrupts play. People are friendly. Great practice facility.
Let’s wait and see
The staff is excellent Liz, Tom and another young man with blond hair oh and Jace too!
They are working on the course which is great.
Looking forward to playing after “over seed”
Some of the questions are not fair because they are working on the course.
Once traps are ready, it will be entertaining. Tee boxes uneven
9-4
I love this course and appreciate the improvements that are being made. Pace was slow but nothing dire. Maybe pair up twosomes to help out. The grass definitely needs to be cut but had a great time. Staff is excellent and very nice.
Fun executive course.
Great executive course, lots of par 3’s and a couple decent par 4’s. Good value for the price. The bunkers are un-hittable, and the roughs are pretty rough. But for the price, you can’t go wrong
Stay Away!
Man where do I even begin. I’ll start by saying If you’re looking for a place to party and be drunk before 9:00am then disregard this review. It sadly appears that this executive course is not so much about the golf as it is the get hammered drunk and spray the ball around atmosphere. Took nearly 2 hours to complete 9 holes of short par 3 golf. So needless to say my wife and I called it quits and didn’t get to play the 18 holes we payed for. Tee boxes were overgrown, greens were slow as I’ve ever played on, mud pits throughout, overall it was a dog track of a course. Unfortunately the new ownership has failed to redeem this once beloved short course. Again if you’re looking to play an actual round of golf I’d go up the street to Cave Creek or out west to Sun City. Takes a lot for me to write a review but I felt this needed to be shared so people don’t waste their money.
Not what it once was...and too expensive for what it is now.
I was elated to see that this had re-opened after being closed for 2 years. I have great memories of playing this executive 18 over the last 30 years.
My wife and I are friendly and moderately decent weekend golfers who enjoy getting out.
We've given this several chances, and this last one was horrific.
Here are the pros and cons
Pros:
Greens are good as always. Great layout for the greens and in decent condition.
For the most part, the staff is friendly, With the following exceptions.
The ranger for complaining that we were 2 hold behind, when there was nobody in front of us when we teed off and we were paired with a couple guys who don't play often. He complained twice to us.
There are some reasons for slow play on this course, that are not the fault of the players
1. The bunkers are all out of service, this is fine since we can take relief, provided we can get in and out without doing bodily harm due to the conditions of these big holes in the ground near the bunkers, but that does take a little time to do.
2. The rough was two feet or more in many areas, and you could waste a lot of time trying to locate your ball, often stumbling over it, along with many others that were lost. Maybe a new way to replace their range balls? If you want faster play, then mow the ridiculous rough. we are all amateurs out here and are not always going to be on the fairway.
3. Even the fairways were mottled in many places with puddles and mud all over the place.
THE "Manager" who treated myself and my wife like criminals because we accidently turned into the parking lot at the turn. We are both in our 60s, not children and don't need to be scolded because of a mistake. We know we are not supposed to drive through the parking lot in the cart, it was not intentional, we apologized and he actually wanted us to drive back into the parking lot, and go out and enter onto the side where we were supposed to go, like he was teaching us some sort of lesson. Note that this was after we were already to the 10th tee. Seriously? That guy needs to pull his head out of his ..
Also, I understand that the course is in the process of being redone and it takes time, but they are charging as much and even more that other, FULL SIZE courses that are not in such disrepair. This used to be an affordable family friendly, neighborhood golf course. Sorry, but free bottles of water and someone offering to load your clubs onto the cart do not justify over-charging, even in good conditions.
Needless to say, we won't be going back for some time.
