Bellair Golf Park
About
Bellair Golf Park in addition to being a good place to practice one's short game it also tests accuracy with long irons. The course aptly tests control over the ball with the irons. Par 4s make up over half the hole at this executive length golf course. Every one of the greens are heavily bunkered and water hazards come into play on a few holes as well. It is close to a residential area but that only creates more narrow fairways, adding more challenge to the game. The course is well shaded and also well maintained, but play can be slow on occasion. Bellair Golf Park offers many discounts, including a twilight discount, a super twilight discount, and there is also an early morning special.

Up and Coming
The course needs work, BUT, it was obvious that the needed work is underway and in due time I think it can be a great course. (To note about the course quality, we only played the front 9, I cannot comment on the back 9)
Staff were very friendly, pace of play was excellent, and all our needs were met. We thought given the course quality and length that the price for 9 holes was a little high, but were overall pleased with the day.
We had a Great time
First time I played since it reopened. What a great fun course! We had a great time staff was very attentive and the course is in very good condition! Going to hit the range next week and have a few cold ones!
Pace of play
I was a single and playing at a good pace until I caught up to a foursome on the 9th tee that was really slow. Other single golfers behind them just turned around and replayed holes 5,6 and 7. I then waited for the foursome to finish the 10th, they decided take a beer break. Then they let me play thru. Is there any way a Marshall can suggest to slow foursomes to. “Pick it up a little?” Otherwise, great driving range. Par 3 holes were challenging.
Nice executive
Course was in pretty good shape. The only thing that they need to do is work on the sand traps. It was like trying to hit out of concrete bunkers. Roll them a little bit every morning and it would be a lot better. Other than that, nice day to play!
Great place and great price
I love this time of year when early morning golf is cheaper and the course is still in great shape. Love playing here and will be back.
Better Every Time
This course has gone through some major construction and they keep making it better.
Fun
Pace was good. Course was fun and in decent shape.
Nothing has changed
Played this course with my kids as they took lessons back in the 90s. Never a real jewel of a course but it served its purpose as a short game test.
The "new" course, complete with prices as high as $80, is far from new. Other than an improved range, new tee markers and extremely higher prices, nothing had been improved after reopening.
Tee boxes were bare and divot scarred. Bunkers were hard with little sand. Cart path is the same one I drove on 30 years ago and still needs maintenance. Flags on greens were checkerboard colored with no indication of hole placement.
I was pleased to hear course had been reopened with new owners putting "millions" into renovation but I didn't see it or experience it yesterday.
One other interesting fact... on-cart sign offered a free small bucket of balls if you finished round in under 3 hours. Unfortunately, offer only applied to hitting said bucket right after you finished your round. Token for next visit would have been better.
Fun little course
I signed up hoping to join another group but it wasn’t very busy so I ended up going out on my own. The ranger came by and suggested I play 2 balls. Why not? I had a fabulous time with my green ball challenging my white ball. Great practice for my short game! Bunkers directly in front of the green added difficulty, The fairways were soggy in a few spots which was also challenging. The groundskeeper was kind enough to shut off the sprinkler as I approached one hole. Overall, a fun time and I’ll return with some friends.
BAD DECISION
Changing the #1 tee to be #10 is a bad decision. The old #1 by the pro shop makes much more sense.
