About
Built along the Santa Cruz River, Haven Golf Course offers scenic views of the Santa Rita Mountains. Built in 1967, it is Green Valley’s oldest golf course and the only course in the area where walking is allowed. The landscape is covered with mature pines, palms, and eucalyptus trees. There are water hazards and strategically placed bunkers coming into play, but overall the golf course has an enjoyable, player-friendly layout. In addition to the 18-hole course, the Haven Golf G.C. facility features a nine-hole, par-3 golf course called Tortuga. There is also a complete practice facility with all-grass hitting stations that provides excellent short game practice.

This course was fun and reasonably priced
Played 2 other courses in the area that were more expensive but this course was nearly as much fun.
Neighborhood Asset
Always a great corse to play: great staff, wonderful views, and some really nice people out on the course. If only my play was as nice as the course is…
Traditional Flat Golf Course
This is a good course to sharpen your golf skills.
Most all of the greens have elevated false fronts, so you have will have ample practice with your chips shots.
If you are a senior, there are senior tees and ladies tees that are generous to the player.
After over seeding, their is little to no roll on the ball, which adds a challenge to your approach shots.
Green fees are typically less expensive than other public courses in Green Valley
Great course!
Haven is an older course nicely treed, running flat along a dry river bed with cart paths in the fairways- good morning attendance by regulars makes this course an even better afternoon choice. Fun course!
High Grass & Walkers
Played here for the last time. Grass is not mowed correctly way too high in rough area and some greens, hard to even find a ball in ANY color. Office allows too many walkers that hold up everyone behind in carts in 97+ heat. 18 holes took 5 hours instead a normal 4 hours. Just makes for a miserable game when it took 45 minutes for walkers to do 3 holes. No course management.
