About
Built along the Santa Cruz River, Haven Golf Course offers scenic views of the Santa Rita Mountains. Built in 1967, it is Green Valley’s oldest golf course and the only course in the area where walking is allowed. The landscape is covered with mature pines, palms, and eucalyptus trees. There are water hazards and strategically placed bunkers coming into play, but overall the golf course has an enjoyable, player-friendly layout. In addition to the 18-hole course, the Haven Golf G.C. facility features a nine-hole, par-3 golf course called Tortuga. There is also a complete practice facility with all-grass hitting stations that provides excellent short game practice.

Bring plenty of mosquito spray.
The course is fine.
However you need to bring plenty of mosquito spray as they are awfull
Good shape for summer
Haven was in very good shape, especially for such a hot summer. Greens are excellent but very slow.
More Water
There was no water on the course, the day we played temperature hit a high of 103
Conditions were better a local private course
Course was in good condition. Greens were great and smooth.l and better than local private courses where the greens that still haven't recovered from aeration. Definitely will play again.
Good city type course in good condition
Front side pace was excellent. Back side pace was very slow. Greens in good shape for recently being aerated. Fairways in good condition but looks lie the heat is starting to kill the grass.
Pre Summer
Warm day with med winds. Course was in decent condition. Greens have been plugged and sanded, which is the only complaint. Putting took abit to get used to... slow. Should be good when greens come back.
Incredibly slow.
Had to stop after 9. Took 3 hours on the front, couldn't imagine playing a 6 hour round of golf! Saw a ranger but didn't seem to do anything with the slow pace. It's unfortunate because it's a nice course for the value.
Better than expected
I thought this course was a nice change of pace from typical southern Az courses. Nice open fairways with large trees that provide nice shade.
Greens and bunkers well groomed.
