About
Built along the Santa Cruz River, Haven Golf Course offers scenic views of the Santa Rita Mountains. Built in 1967, it is Green Valley’s oldest golf course and the only course in the area where walking is allowed. The landscape is covered with mature pines, palms, and eucalyptus trees. There are water hazards and strategically placed bunkers coming into play, but overall the golf course has an enjoyable, player-friendly layout. In addition to the 18-hole course, the Haven Golf G.C. facility features a nine-hole, par-3 golf course called Tortuga. There is also a complete practice facility with all-grass hitting stations that provides excellent short game practice.

Friendly Fun
The Haven is a very pleasant golf course. It is fair, easy going and let's you work on your game without pressure. None of the holes are too taxing, but they flow nicely and you can have an enjoyable round.
Fun Course
Fun, challenging if you 'go for it' on certain holes but mostly there are easier ways to play. Good value for the money. Friendly place!

Flat open layout
Haven is flat and open. Hard to lose a ball. Greens and fairways were good, off fairways mostly hard pan no rough. Great pace of play 3 hours and 45 minutes. Good course for the money and one that all levels of golfer can enjoy. Good course for scoring well.

A nice, easy going course
All the holes are straight forward, i.e., what you see is what you get. The course is not too challenging, but is in good condition with friendly staff. If you want an enjoyable, relaxed round, Haven is a good choice.

Fairways and greens are very good. Rough is very matted, hat, and long stretches of bare or debris covered ground.

Great people and laidback golfers
We have had nothing but great times at Haven. The people we have been paired with a super. The othe golfers don't rush you and pace of play is very good. The staff is friendly and the course is well maintained.
