About
Built along the Santa Cruz River, Haven Golf Course offers scenic views of the Santa Rita Mountains. Built in 1967, it is Green Valley’s oldest golf course and the only course in the area where walking is allowed. The landscape is covered with mature pines, palms, and eucalyptus trees. There are water hazards and strategically placed bunkers coming into play, but overall the golf course has an enjoyable, player-friendly layout. In addition to the 18-hole course, the Haven Golf G.C. facility features a nine-hole, par-3 golf course called Tortuga. There is also a complete practice facility with all-grass hitting stations that provides excellent short game practice.

Busy but great place
It was packed when we went but speed of play was decent. Great course.

Way too slow - 4 hrs 45 minutes
As always enjoyed the course and atmosphere. Way too slow. A group ahead was playing a scramble for reason and although it should have sped things up it forced a backwash with no Marshall to encourage play through.

Crappy round
Booked and prepaid through golf now, course said that they didn’t have my reservation ($90+ for 2). Had to pay again in order to play ($52). Called Golfnow to get a refund, pro shop said that I was a no show so golf now told me to take a hike. Very disappointed.

"Haven" Can't Wait
A fine track, but pretty flat. The pace of play was excellent, as soon as we passed a slow foursome, who thankfully only held us up for one hole. If one stays out of trouble off the tee, scoring opportunities are plentiful. Unlike yours truly, you'll have to make the birdie putts!!

Nice course
Good course for couples. Greens were on the slow side, but smooth. Overall the course was in good shape. I enjoyed the round.

Typical Haven
Greens are great and roll true, fairways average-good still coming in from fall overseeding, rough - sparse. I just move the ball to a spot of grass or a weed when I am not in the fairway, not my fault they can't grow grass over their areas off the fairways.
