About
Built along the Santa Cruz River, Haven Golf Course offers scenic views of the Santa Rita Mountains. Built in 1967, it is Green Valley’s oldest golf course and the only course in the area where walking is allowed. The landscape is covered with mature pines, palms, and eucalyptus trees. There are water hazards and strategically placed bunkers coming into play, but overall the golf course has an enjoyable, player-friendly layout. In addition to the 18-hole course, the Haven Golf G.C. facility features a nine-hole, par-3 golf course called Tortuga. There is also a complete practice facility with all-grass hitting stations that provides excellent short game practice.

Got a last minute deal for playing in the rain. Staff are extremely friendly as always. Everything was great considering the weather. Was glad there's other people who don't mind getting a bit wet and muddy at the links. Only thing I'd improve are level out the tee boxes.

A good course to practice your game
The Haven is flat and not particularly interesting, but if you want to have a stress free, easy round, this is the course. This is a popular course for the locals , so don’t expect to play under 4 hours.. Try to get a hot deal, to get the best bang for your buck.

Good time
Had a great group. Everything was great. Only thing I would add is I wished they announced we were on deck so we wouldn't have to rush on the first tee while waiting for the frost warning and add sand to the bunkers. Perfect otherwise

Overplayed
Overall the course was I great shape for the amount of rounds played daily. My biggest complaint was that the round took 5-1/2 hours. Tee times are too close together and thus the pace of play was excruciatingly slow. Greens we’re slow but as I said, for the amount of rounds played the course was in great condition.

Great Public Course
My Son Danny and I played with a couple of nice guys named Don and Mike that played the course very well. Never met them before but they were very good golfers and they were nice guys and they weee patient with the pace of play. I am normally a fast golfer but it was okay because they were good company. So overall, golf was good, course was decent and weather was perfect.
