About
The Viewpoint Golf Resort offers both a championship course as well as an executive golf course. The Championship Course provides a fair test of skill of golfers of any skill level with generous, rolling fairways lined with trees and some greens that are severely sloped from back to front. With numerous sand bunkers and water hazards that come into play in the form of three lakes and a small creek, the course definitely makes strategic shot-making a priority. The course also provides a scenic atmosphere for the game with panoramic mountain views and cascading waterfalls throughout. Viewpoint Golf Resort's Championship course is easy to walk and there are four sets of tees for a variety of different golfing options.

Great day of golf
This course was perfect. I’m not a seasoned golfer and this was a challenging but great course to play all my clubs and feel challenged but not overwhelmed. Lots of fun playing this course!
Great value, summer conditions.
Fairways need maintenance after summer heat.
Greens were well maintained. Pace was fast. 2.5 hours.
Rough shape
I’ve golfed here many times and never remember it being in such bad shape. Quite a few greens had a lot of dirt spots on them, the tee boxes were in bad shape, the fairways weren’t too bad but if you went off the fairway you were hitting off some tough weeds. I get it was only $30 but I’ve payed as low as $35 at other places and their courses were in great shape.

Staff wonderful. Inside counterman made accommodation for me to avoid course traffic. Very friendly and I am appreciative. Outside man helped me unload my cart. Great staff!
Viewpoint
Always a great course to play. Just minutes from home. Always a plus.
Poor Greens
Would not recommend playing this course until after overseed. They are in such bad shape now not fun to play.
Great golf track, but a little banged up…
I have appreciated Viewpoint for many years. During the season it’s typically one of the best value courses in the East Valley; however, it’s in a slump at the moment. Lots of bald spots on the tee boxes and fairways. In addition, the greens are patchy and bumpy at the moment. For $50 a person there are many other courses not destroyed by the heat.
We played on an overnight rainy day and they decided to make it cart path only for the day. Except, there were no puddles on the course and the grass was actually not that wet. Made the round a less enjoyable for the type of condition it was walking in the heat/humidity. We also saw an employee (from what appeared) playing as a single driving all over the course. My guess he didn’t know or maybe was a maintenance staff member who noticed the conditions were not worthy of cart path only.
I won’t be playing here summer months but would like to see how they bounce back in the Fall and Spring.
Great overall course
Given time of year and the heat, course wasn’t perfect but overall pretty good condition. Some dry spots and dirt, but I was impressed. Greens were slow, pace of play was incredibly fast, I finished 18 in about 2:45.
Another round at view poiny
To be expected because of the heat there are places on the course where the the grass is non existent. The T boxes were not their best but playable. This is a fun course and I will return. In season this course is well kept.
Playing Viewpoint
First time playing since last summer. Course is in fairly good shape. Some tee boxes need some work. Greens were in good condition. Payed $37.21 last August and September, and now in July $43.21.
