About
The Viewpoint Golf Resort offers both a championship course as well as an executive golf course. The Championship Course provides a fair test of skill of golfers of any skill level with generous, rolling fairways lined with trees and some greens that are severely sloped from back to front. With numerous sand bunkers and water hazards that come into play in the form of three lakes and a small creek, the course definitely makes strategic shot-making a priority. The course also provides a scenic atmosphere for the game with panoramic mountain views and cascading waterfalls throughout. Viewpoint Golf Resort's Championship course is easy to walk and there are four sets of tees for a variety of different golfing options.

Hot day at the links.
Friendly greeting by Jim, Inside Attendant. Hot & humid day, 107 degrees. Free Ice water to go inside golf shop & ice cold towels outside. Enjoyable round, look forward to coming back.
Greens need work
Good value course, played on 8/28/22. Friendly staff, pace of play is fair. Greens and aprons need help.
Hire more ground keepers
Quality of grass is a mix of crabgrass and few other indigeous species. Grass has not been cut for many days except for greens.
Pace is always slowed down by very slow moving local players.
No marshall.
Overall ok, I had fun…
Better than going to the range.
Price was good, but course was in rough shape. I figured it was better than the cost of a large bucket of range balls.
Fair value for the money
Played at our own pace for 6 holes, got jammed after a group thst was very slow afterward . Stull plAyed in 4 1/4 hours. The course needed cutting attention. Interesting easy layout. Good value for the money.
Great summer rate!
Nice course and bar/restaurant for the money! Make sure you don't order happy hour before 2, even by a couple minutes or you wont get the happy hour discount from bartender/server.
Good for the money
Fairways and tea boxes are benefiting from the recent rains but the greens were really slow. Furry. Velcro slow. Maybe they recently punched and sanded them.

Great course in ok condition for this time of year, very friendly staff , cart was in good condition, pub was awesome after the game , thanks guys
Admin. attitude.
I have been taught to say nothing if you can not say anything good about someone. Outside staff was a 10. Inside person, Kim, was a 0. I have always enjoyed Jim who works on monday - wednesay, 10.. I will not play again when she is working. Even though I book on tee-off, she says they do not get paid if I book the late tee times and pay my money. I have never been told by the other course that they do not get paid and that I am like a second citizen.

My group loves Viewpoint Championship course. As non members of the community we are always treated with respect and excellent customer service. The course is in very good summer shape, is challenging while still fair to the average golfer, and is an excellent value.
