About
The Viewpoint Golf Resort offers both a championship course as well as an executive golf course. The Championship Course provides a fair test of skill of golfers of any skill level with generous, rolling fairways lined with trees and some greens that are severely sloped from back to front. With numerous sand bunkers and water hazards that come into play in the form of three lakes and a small creek, the course definitely makes strategic shot-making a priority. The course also provides a scenic atmosphere for the game with panoramic mountain views and cascading waterfalls throughout. Viewpoint Golf Resort's Championship course is easy to walk and there are four sets of tees for a variety of different golfing options.

Condition is improving
Overall the course has been improving over the last few weeks.
Just ok
We’ve played this course many times but this last round the course was not in good shape! The weeds were growing out and the rough areas had pretty tall grass so if you were in it you took awhile to find your ball or lost it altogether! I believe they are getting ready to reseed! Otherwise we like this course for “practice “. We have nice people that get paired up with us!
Spotty greens
Conditions are improving. Greens are still a little slow and some have spotty areas. Aprons are a little rough. Traps are pretty good for a value course. One of my favorite courses, not pristine, but not bad either.

Friendly greeting by Jim, Inside Attendant. Hot & humid day, 107 degrees. Free Ice water to go inside golf shop & ice cold towels outside. Enjoyable round, look forward to coming back.
Greens need work
Good value course, played on 8/28/22. Friendly staff, pace of play is fair. Greens and aprons need help.
Hire more ground keepers
Quality of grass is a mix of crabgrass and few other indigeous species. Grass has not been cut for many days except for greens.
Pace is always slowed down by very slow moving local players.
No marshall.
Overall ok, I had fun…
Better than going to the range.
Price was good, but course was in rough shape. I figured it was better than the cost of a large bucket of range balls.
Fair value for the money
Played at our own pace for 6 holes, got jammed after a group thst was very slow afterward . Stull plAyed in 4 1/4 hours. The course needed cutting attention. Interesting easy layout. Good value for the money.
Great summer rate!
Nice course and bar/restaurant for the money! Make sure you don't order happy hour before 2, even by a couple minutes or you wont get the happy hour discount from bartender/server.
