About
The Viewpoint Golf Resort offers both a championship course as well as an executive golf course. The Championship Course provides a fair test of skill of golfers of any skill level with generous, rolling fairways lined with trees and some greens that are severely sloped from back to front. With numerous sand bunkers and water hazards that come into play in the form of three lakes and a small creek, the course definitely makes strategic shot-making a priority. The course also provides a scenic atmosphere for the game with panoramic mountain views and cascading waterfalls throughout. Viewpoint Golf Resort's Championship course is easy to walk and there are four sets of tees for a variety of different golfing options.

Good Greens, Patchy Fairways.
Greens were in good condition, fairways were not...very patchy. But, pace was great, we (twosome) finished in 2 1/2 hrs.
Nice layout and great for average golfer.
Course is extremely dry — fairways and greens.
Enjoyed playing there and will again.
Unfriendly staff
Reserved a 5pm tee time but upon arrival we were told that they don’t have tee times that late. After that was sorted there were 2 instances of him being a jerk to another group and another paying customer that didn’t have a group. The fairways were horrible and felt like we were playing on rocks and dirt the whole time. The course was just unplayable at times. I’m not sure how this course went downhill fast. Used to be a good cheap course with friendly staff to play a quick round but I won’t be visiting here anymore even though it’s a mile from my house and it’s cheap. Spend your money and time elsewhere.
No grass
No grass. Tees and greens are good fairways are basically bare
Good Value
Nice relatively short course in east Mesa; greens in good condition; staff is accommodating and friendly; water restrictions causing some fairways to brown out; pace was good;
Course needs some work
I have played at Viewpoint several times. Today was the first time I have seen it in such a dried up state. Does not seem like it is being watered;. Wont be plating ther for awhile.
Seeing brown
Normally this course is fabulous but now seeing brown areas and crunchy grass. Terrible drought we are having so no surprise! The people who work there are fabulous!
