About

The Viewpoint Golf Resort offers both a championship course as well as an executive golf course. The Championship Course provides a fair test of skill of golfers of any skill level with generous, rolling fairways lined with trees and some greens that are severely sloped from back to front. With numerous sand bunkers and water hazards that come into play in the form of three lakes and a small creek, the course definitely makes strategic shot-making a priority. The course also provides a scenic atmosphere for the game with panoramic mountain views and cascading waterfalls throughout. Viewpoint Golf Resort's Championship course is easy to walk and there are four sets of tees for a variety of different golfing options.

Getting worn

Love this course but due to an extreme amount of play this year the course is wearing out fast. Not much grass to play off of in many spots. Looking forward to less people this summer

A nice short course that is a challenge for most player abilities; course is is good shape and pace of play was just under four hours. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Good food at the on-course restaurant. A very good value and a local gem in east Mesa.

Course is somewhere between an executive course and a real course. Course conditions were poor, tee box grass was about 1-1/2" long which is weird, I've never had a flyer lie on a teed up tee shot. The cart guys seemed like we were bothering them with our business when we arrived. The bartender was less then friendly when we tried to buy a beer on the turn. We won't be back, too many other choices around the area to bother with this place.
