Four Peaks Course at Sunland Springs Village
About
Like many other golf courses in the Phoenix area, Sunland Springs Village is a desert style golf course. But unlike many other desert courses, this golf course has grass extending from the tees all the way to the greens. This executive course also features wide fairways with forgiving landing areas and large, undulating greens. There are water hazards and sand bunkers placed strategically throughout the course. The par-4 second hole is the signature hole, requiring a difficult shot over water. In addition to the golf course, Sunland Springs Village is also home to a golf school and practice facilities including a driving range, chipping area, and putting green.

good balance
yes, one par five, a few par fours and a bunch of threes. If you con't like traps, this is a fun course.
Great executive course
Play here tons. Staff is always great. Finally have practice areas fixed. Great upgrade.
Greens little fuzzy but not bad.
Nice little track!
Very nice course close to Mesa and Queen Creek with a very friendly staff and great little kitchen with some good eats! This is my second time coming out here and I must say it is in much better shape than it was in June. The greens are in much better shape and so are the fairways after they had aerated them, although the greens were quite a bit slower than what I had anticipated but the ball held when hit onto the green just did not create much of a divot as they were a little hard. It was nice that they finally got their driving range completed and I must say it’s a very nice driving range that’s reasonably priced and the day after the short game practice area and putting greens were opened. The pace of play was very good as there weren’t a whole lot of people on the course when I went out at 8:30 AM. I will most definitely be back and I think this will be one of my regulars that I’ll try to play at least once a week! Great for working on your short game and also has a par five or two sprinkled in there for some fun with the driver. The only complaint I think I might have would be that the GPS rangefinder on the carts did not work but that’s OK. I carry my own, which was helpful. They do have a small ice chest on the side of the cart so if you want to bring a few bottles of water with you, you can put them in there and they will top it off with ice for you. If you’re in the East valley I highly recommend playing this course. It was fun!
Good short course
A good value for the money. The greens are in very good shape, and the staff are very friendly. We’ve played it in 3-3.5 hours, for early weekend rounds, which is a plus. Some of the fairways are patchy, but not terrible for August.
love this course
Staff is friendly and love the three 9's. Usually different 18 holes every time we play Will definitely be back
Fun course
Enjoyed golf here. Like having 27 holes so could be playing different 9’s each time you go. Staff very friendly loved gps carts. Finished in 3 hours
I will not be returning to this course.
I booked online through GolfNow, as I have done over a dozen times previously for other course. On the day, we arrived at least 30 mins prior to warm-up. The price for 18 holes was good. We had to rent clubs because my family came to visit and play golf. They charged $47 for each rental. That’s ridiculous but we had no choice. I checked online to see if they offered rentals and it stated they were under $20. When I went to pay for the round they couldn’t find my reservation. They said I had to check-in online first. I’ve never had to do this with any other course and had no issues. They were able to fit us in but it was going to be over 30 mins later. On top of that, the range was closed, no info on this when I looked online prior to picking this course. I was recommended to this course be buddies who have played it in the past because it’s wider and has more area for mis-hits for beginners. Several fairways were bare and didn’t even have grass at all. We played San Tan and Four Peaks. The greens were mostly ok but also had their issues. I would not return here again and that’s sad with how much I play in the Phoenix area. I just can’t get over the rental club pricing. I wish a manager could contact me to discuss.
Summer conditions
Hands down one of my favorite short courses. Staff is constantly epic.
Aeration alert is valid. Soaking the fairways and greens are aerated and sanded. So, swamp to beach playing for another week or so. Just course summer maintenance.
Still renovating practice areas and heads.
Great value
The only reason I did not give a 5 for the course conditions was that some of the tee boxes were well worn. The GPS in the carts is a definite plus. Staff has always been very friendly and helpful.
old players
course was in good shape for this hot and dry weather, some dried out spots on every hole but played very well. A little slow on the back 9 played in 4 hours. i would recommend this course anytime.
