About
Located next to several residential areas, the golf course at the Apache Wells Country Club was designed with seniors in mind. With that consideration, the course is mostly flat to make it an easily walkable. The course was originally only a nine-hole course but in 1966, Milt Coggins designed the back nine holes. Trees line many of the fairways and there is also a housing development that runs alongside the fairways. Water hazards also come into play on several holes. Being so close to a residential area, there are many out-of-bounds stakes on both sides. Apache Wells Country Club is open to the public from mid-April to the end of October.

Fantastic Course
Loved the course conditions, chipping green and driving range were in great shape as well. Every interaction with the staff was pleasant. It was all around a great time
Apache Wells great value
The course was in good shape with the exceptions of the greens. They had just been aerated so they were very bumpy and difficult to putt. The fairways are in great shape. Pace of play was too slow and there was no marshall to monitor it. Took our threesome 4 1/2 hours to play. Started at 7:15.
Great condition
It's just a little golf course but it is in a great shape. The beer is very affordable and everybody is friendly. I don't know why anybody would not want to play here.
Good value for what I paid. Found a hot deal .online. Would not pay normal listed price
Shenanigans
The course was a shotgun start which was fine, but the course sent us out in A and B groups to holes and were 5 somes back to back and felt rushed all day to wait.
Great Round
This is a great course to place, somewhat easy but you can be fooled with all of the new work the golf course has performed. 3rd week out of overseed and the course is going to be great. Because of the overseed and cart path only, we were able to obtain a great rate on 10-28-2024. This course will be hard to get onto probably after Nov 1st as the rest of the snowbirds return back to the valley for the winter and this course stays pretty full and hard to get on. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you can get a tee time.
