About
Located next to several residential areas, the golf course at the Apache Wells Country Club was designed with seniors in mind. With that consideration, the course is mostly flat to make it an easily walkable. The course was originally only a nine-hole course but in 1966, Milt Coggins designed the back nine holes. Trees line many of the fairways and there is also a housing development that runs alongside the fairways. Water hazards also come into play on several holes. Being so close to a residential area, there are many out-of-bounds stakes on both sides. Apache Wells Country Club is open to the public from mid-April to the end of October.

Awesome Golf
Staff very friendly and professional, golf carts were great, course in very good condition, HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Great value
We did shotgun start which kept the pace of play right on time. Staff is friendly and course was in excellent condition. Relatively easy course. Flat and wide open on most holes.
Golfing in the Sun at Apache Wells
It's a rare treat to get a tee time as Apache Wells is extremely played by their membership. Was able to get a tee time and a very reasonable price per player, they put us into the morning shotgun at 8am and we finished around 11:30am. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Will play again and again.
Solid course
It’s obvious the course is well maintained. Tee boxes are flat fairway lies sit up perfectly rough punishes you if you miss fairway. It is a well run and maintenance is second to none!
Nice course
I play this course several times a year. It is my wife's favorite course. The course is usually in very good shape. Greens roll nicely, fairways and rough are in good to very good shape. This is not a long course or very challenging. That said, you still have to hit the shots and there are some challenges. I think scratch golfers would be bored with this track but average golfers will find it fun.

Second time playing this course. For this time of year the course is in great shape compared to others. Early morning tee times does give you wet grass but pick your battles. Greens were slow because it’s after watering so no biggie. We had two guys behind us kind of pushing so we let them play through but then they had to wait for the threesome in front LOL! Played 18 in 3hours but it’s a short basic course of which is great for working on skills! It’s close by and kind of a little gem. They are redoing the driving range so no practice except for putting.
I would most definitely recommend this course. A couple brown spots in the fairway but no big deal you’re going to have that anyways. Greens were fast and true. The pace of play was awesome, we played in three hours and 10 minutes. I will most definitely be back to play it.
