Fountain Palms Golf Course

My favorite little course. Great staff, always friendly and accommodating. Worth every penny.

This short course is perfect for the new or casual golfer. It is a nice 9 hole course. Some holes can be a little challenging with the presence of bunkers or nearby water. The course is in very good condition from tee box to green. The golf shop manager was very nice and helpful. We were paired with two other fellows and had a very enjoyable round of golf. The cost for a round is very reasonable for the time of year.

I have not finished my round yet and will not come back here again. I have played at this course for 2 - 3 years for the cheap prices, but I don’t think I’m going to come back. The starter interrupted my girlfriend and I multiple times during our warmup (only 15 minutes) and assumed we were 30+ handicappers because we were 20. The same starter also yelled at us for waiting too long to hit while there were still people on the green! This place is only good if you can get a hot deal, otherwise don’t waste your time

Fun course to play! We spoke to Inky at length when we were finished. Great conversation! Lots of golf stories he has had the fortune of being part of, I would recommend this as a stop for a fun executive type course.

the course is going thru a ownership change. The staff there is excellent. The pace is very slow, but it was my day off and I was in no hurry. Executive course. Fun to play and be able to hit the green on a par 4 on the 1st shot.

Course is fun and in good shape just a little expensive for a 9 hole course

Quick, fun track — perfect for a fast round. Wrapped up in about an hour. Course is in solid shape, especially for the time of year. Friendly staff and great value.

Great 9 hole course with 3 challenging long Par 4 holes to keep outta water and some great short Par 3s to keep your wedges dialed in. Plays pretty quick, if there’s nobody around it’s easy to knock out a round in 60 minutes!

My wife and I played the course for the very first time. She is just getting back into the game so seemed like a good start. We were very impressed with the staff, the routing of the holes and the playability of the course. There is a good amount of local flavor that makes the course interesting. I would have given 5 stars across the board, but the grass on the greens was very long. Not sure if the reason was to aid in transition or something else. No matter. It didn’t affect our enjoyment of the course.

My one caveat. Disappointed to see who was the teaching pro. The course deserves better.

This place is down the street from me. It’s where I learned to play the game.. it’s a fun and easy course, perfect to learn how to play and to work on your short game. The staff is cool, Gill and the grounds crew have been working hard to make this the best course for value in the whole valley. It’s come a long way in the short time they have taken over from the old groundskeeper. Definitely recommend this place to anybody learning or an experienced golfer that needs a quick easy confidence building round and everyone in between.

They had just watered the course, so cart paths were muddy and grass had puddles all over the place, and their greens are in pretty rough shape. Maybe water the course in the evenings? Otherwise, it a course for those still working on their game.
