About
Located in the city of Mesa, the Royal Palms golf course is a nine-holer with a risk-and-reward style layout. Royal Palms offers a mix of par 3s and par 4s that is suitable for all skill levels of golfer. Although it is a short course, there are challenges to keep golfers on their toes. Two lakes form water hazards that come into play on over half of the holes. Royal Palms G.C. also has strategically placed sand bunkers throughout the entire design that can affect shots.

Golf
Nice course. Narrow with a lot of water. Good course to play in a pinch.
Much better
Since my last review on Sunday what a difference. Someone was at the 1st tee box sending players off in groups of 4 . Excellent pace of play and thank you.
Very slow. Need someone to organize the people leaving the 1st tee box. It’s a free for all. People leave when they want to. Two at a time or even singles. Should be four at a time when this busy.
Short course
Not bad for a practice round. Greens where quick and most holes were very short. Some water but not an issue with minimal skill. Fairways and greens were very hard. Pace of play was pretty slow considering the lack of difficulty. Women at check in was pleasant. No other staff was present at the time. Would probably play again for a quick warm up.
Executive 9 hole course basic

Course was fine
Fair
There were no starters or ranger. People just showed up and played. Greens and fairways were pretty decent but other areas were hard packed and difficult. Quite a few bare spots.
Way too slow
Worst managed clubhouse I’ve ever seen. No carts available, WAY too many tee times for the size of the course. Wait times were excruciating. At least 2 groups waiting on every hole. We quit after five holes.
