Oakcreek Country Club is situated amongst Sedona's red rock mountains, providing unique scenery throughout. Opened over 40 years ago, it is Sedona's first golf course. The course was a collaboration between Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and his son. It is a classic, player-friendly layout that offers plenty of room for error. There are also several opportunities to recover errant shots incorporated into the design. Despite its forgiving nature, the golf course definitely has its challenges. There are tree-lined fairways with bunkers strategically positioned in the landing areas and elevated greens bordered by large, swirling bunkers. Three lakes also come into play on five holes. Oakcreek Country Club requires accuracy as well as length in order to score well. Next to the clubhouse there are extensive practice facilities including a large driving range with target areas, a practice green, putting and chipping greens, and a short game area with a sand bunker.

Not one cart girl for 18 holes !!!!! Never had this kind of $$$ for NO SERVice !!!! I had to give my playing pairing one of my waters which was not provided in cost of round.???

Loved the course serviced SUCKED SO BAD . I won’t pay that ever again for this place sad … I expect a phone callfrom staff this was unacceptable! I will trash you on yelp. After round NONO E WAS AVAILABLE for me to voice concerns .

Poor tee timing

Loved the course, views, and condition of the course. Absolutely stunning. However, pace of play was dreadful!! I noticed tee times are scheduled every 4 minutes. Far too close for the difficulty of this course. Too many tourist thinking is going to be their home course. Pro shop should know this and give a little more leeway to times. It was nothing to see 3 groups on one hole on numerous holes. BTW..... writing this review while waiting to hit on this course!! I waited all week to play this course (saving the best for last?) and just disappointed and frustrated..

After my review was sent, the course ranger (not knowing I sent a review) saw what was happening and immediately took care of us. We skipped a par 3 and he put us in front of the 2 groups holding us up for the several minutes per hole. Had it not been for his concern and professionalism we probably would've stopped after the front 9. He definitely took care of the situation and made the remaining 9 holes wonderful. The pace of play was PERFECT!! Beautiful course, great conditions, and magnificent scenery. BTW.....LOVED the course kitty who greeted us after our round. :)

Gorgeous Sedona views and prime course conditions. Lightning fast greens were super fun and challenging. Fairways and tee boxes were in great shape. My only complaint would be the firm bunkers, but I got out of every one I landed in first try so I didn’t reflect it in my rating lol.

I will certainly be back! I wish they offered some sort of AZ resident discount though…

Everything was first class! Greens are quick and in great shape. Only negative was the female pro or starter put a twosome in front of us at the turn. We even had my other playing partners go directly to the 10th tee while I went to the restroom. Ruined the first 4-5 holes on the back nine. She’s absolutely wrong to do this and I’d appreciate the course reaching out to rectify

Other than firm bunkers I truely enjoyed playing this course. From the tee box to the green the course was in very good condition. The real challenge was adjusting to the high speed of the greens and their sultle diviations. I normally walk courses in the Phoenix area and this course is easy for walking. Tree lined fairways remonded me of home with an added onus of red rock views.
