Oakcreek Country Club is situated amongst Sedona's red rock mountains, providing unique scenery throughout. Opened over 40 years ago, it is Sedona's first golf course. The course was a collaboration between Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and his son. It is a classic, player-friendly layout that offers plenty of room for error. There are also several opportunities to recover errant shots incorporated into the design. Despite its forgiving nature, the golf course definitely has its challenges. There are tree-lined fairways with bunkers strategically positioned in the landing areas and elevated greens bordered by large, swirling bunkers. Three lakes also come into play on five holes. Oakcreek Country Club requires accuracy as well as length in order to score well. Next to the clubhouse there are extensive practice facilities including a large driving range with target areas, a practice green, putting and chipping greens, and a short game area with a sand bunker.

Beautiful golf course

We were able to get out 20 minutes before our tee time. Golf course was in near perfect condition.. .my wife and I enjoyed every moment on the golf course on a perfect weather day as well. Pace of play was good. Views were awesome all around the course..we will be back if we get a chance to play there again...hopefully we will get a good deal on tee off again

A good day in Sedona

Visited for a weekend. Course was recommended by pro at a private club (Weiskopf). I was pleased with recommendation - Nice layout, good conditions, nice greens, though could be faster. We played on a Friday afternoon in 4:15. We were slowed on the last 3 or 4 holes by group in front. I am told by local that pace can be much slower.

Nice Course

This is the first time that I have played at Oak Creek. I thoroughly enjoyed playing the course. The course was well kept. Not many brown spots. The views of Sedona are awesome. The staff was very friendly and helpful. When I visit Sedona again, I will certainly play this course.

Always an enjoyable round

My wife and I play this course every time we go to Sedona. It is a truly enjoyable course with beautiful scenery. The staff is great and the restaurant is very enjoyable for a meal after the round. We will definitely be back again and again.

Great day of golf

Oak Creek country club was an outstanding venue for the golfer. Friendly staff plenty of practice facilities great course conditions and perfect weather. We came down for the day from Las Vegas and it was worth the drive. Greens were in great shape and rolled true. We have made the commitment to come back again and stay for several days. Great course worth the trip to beautiful Red Rock country!!

Very bad experience/ Staff Making Excuses for Slow Play

I just played this course yesterday and it was a complete waste of my time and money. To start we had a threesome and by the time we reached the green we had a single waiting off the green. We had the single join us as the group in front of us was already two holes behind. By the second hole we had a twosome waiting off the green because the group on front was behind. Rangers did nothing to combat and just told us the member ahead had some beginners playing with them. It made the round horrible as we were waiting ten minutes for each shot. Staff was not very helpful since we were not members. I will never play here again.

Great course

The course was in great shape “but” set up very difficult and greens were extremely hard, fast and hole placements very difficult. But, all that said, it was set up for a tournament the next day and winds were gusting which is all part of the game…. The staff was awesome and helpful and the price for this beautiful of a course and experience was very good. We would play again for sure. The challenge was humbling.

No cart girl the whole round, no complimentary water at all! Ice in cooler that’s it. For $129 a round and $20 for my wife to ride you would expect some service on course . Very disappointed…
