Wickenburg Country Club

The course conditions have improved since the last time I played. The greens were in the best conditions ever.

Course was in great shape. Greens were the best I have played in AZ. Smooth, fast, and true. Greens were a little firm.

Fairways were great. There was good grass. Just off the fairway was not as punishing as some desert courses.

This is a tighter course than most of the courses I have played in AZ.

It is not a grip it and rip it course.

Lots of fun on a challenging course for average golfers.

We had a great day and the staff were very friendly.

Not an aesthetically pleasing course in the sense that the rough is really rough with ricks and scrub. Some nice vista views though. Sort of target golf on some holes. Mostly narrow fairways and landing spots. The greens were in great shape. Nice sand traps. Didn’t feel like a $90 course but I’m afraid that is a normal price in the winter months. A great restaunt and bar.

I’m sorry but the course did not meet my expectations and therefore I am reluctant to endorse the course. Especially for the price being charged. If it was half what was charged it could possibly be worth it.

The course was great, challenging tight fairways and quick greens. The pace of play was slow, the group in front of us were hitting multiple tee shots on many holes. Also seen some 5 some groups in front of us. Really need a Ranger to keep the golfers moving. The restaurant was very good, we split a bbq pork sandwich and the cook cut it and sent it out on two plates with full servings of fries and coleslaw for each of us. Five star service and food.

Tight challenging course that requires accuracy to avoid rough and water

If you are an old guy like me, play from the forward tees! Although I've played it before, I kind of forgot what a tough course this is with changing elevations, accuracy required, and little forgiveness. The punched greens were disappointing since the practice green rolled fast and true. The greens were very bumpy and fuzzy which made the speed quite variable. I wanted to use the facilities afterwards but the door was locked although I could see people inside. Had to find a bush prior to a hour ride home.

We love this course, it's actually one of our favorites. We feel the value is there for the price of the golf. It's not overly busy. The greens and tea boxes are well taken care of. It's a fun course to play.

Course is laid out great. Greens are awesome!! Tee boxes need some work. I didn’t catch the women in the pro shops name but she was super friendly and let me know about the specials for my son. He’s 15 and they encourage younger players. Great experience there.
