Big dawg
It’s hard to rate any golf course in the late summer in Az...small greens, on course marks from hole to hole needs upgrade, needs to add combo tee to course(whites to short - blues to long) needs something in between. Golf cart paths were rough.

Told myself to play it safe and smart instead of trying the hero shots on the holes that you can get in real trouble on. Shot the best round on the course today I ever have.

Took a beating!!
Since I have already played the other two local courses in Wickenburg, I wanted to take this course off the list. Not going to lie, this course literally kicked my butt. I should have listened to the person in the pro shop. They said this is target golf, and keep it in the fairway. So what did I do, brought out the driver and tried to hit them long.
Condition:
For being a country club, I really thought this place would be in a lot better shape. There are no cart paths, mostly gravel or dirt. Greens were very fast but not in the best of shape. At ten o'clock, there were parts of the course very wet and muddy. There were spots on the green and fairway that was bare.
Signage were not the best, some were hand written on a piece of plywood.
Everyone there were very nice, Course was still fun to play, and would like to try my luck again.

Fantastic course. Well worth the drive. Course is in great condition. Hat's off to the grounds crew!! Beautiful scenery & a layout that is enjoyable whether your a beginner or an advanced player

Good course for the money...and you need to be accurate.
Great course. The shortness is made up for with demand for accuracy. Hard to decide where to aim some shots on a first time around. Missing your spot is costly. Pace of play was great!!

Upon arrival we see starter sitting in cart smoking a cigarette; which blew in our face.....class act....anyway course has no paved paths so get ready to sniff in desert dust for 4 hours...no Covid 19 precautions in place....no plexiglass when checking in......and you all use the same pen to sign for your cart....no water on course and no ball washers so bring a wet towel....for $40 i expected more but with not much competition in Wickenburg this may be acout as good as it gets....go to Phoenix and pay less and get more....

Thank you for your review Bara550. Feedback is what helps us improve our facility. We would love to have more permanent cart paths and someday might be able to budget for that. Until then, we will continue to allow and even encourage carts to be driven as much as possible in grass areas The water stations, rakes and ball washers were removed per recommendations to limit exposure to the virus. Our pens are routinely sanitized at the desk. As the CDC has now stated that exposure through surfaces is minimal, we have since replaced the water stations, rakes and ball washers. Regarding the smoking, we do apologize for that and it will be addressed with our staff. We hope that someday you might give us another shot.

Target Golf At It’s Best
Nice challenging layout with tricky greens and pin placements. Target golf done very well. Probably need to play the course a couple of times to know where to hit your shots for the best results.

Thank you for your review. As it would happen, we will be coming out with a couple of different combo tees that will provide an excellent option for a longer course and a little bit shorter course. Having the small greens does increase the challenge of the current white tee set up. Signage and cart paths are also in the works for improvement. We hope to have those changes implemented at some point in the near future as funds become available, and hopefully before you entertain the idea of giving us another attempt.
