Perfect day for a round
Golfnow rate as great for this course, with tight fairways and great greens. Accuracy a must weather was chamber of commerce good!

This is a very humbling golf course. A few yards can be the difference between a superb shot and a lost ball. The more people play it, the more they enjoy the nuances and challenges on each hole.
Nice course, very challenging
The course is in great shape. Fairways are green, greens roll nicely, and the scenery is something different from the valley. I have no complaints but would warn that this course is very challenging. If you struggle with accuracy at all you will lose many balls and it could be a long day. If you hit them straight it is a fun layout with some blind shots, skinny fairways, protected approaches into small greens, everything you could ask for to make you feel good when you make a par. Not where I would play every week but I will return for the challenge occasionally.

Played elsewhere
Club Manager was less than helpful, boardline rude when explaining how GolfNow doesn’t pay them anything. So to recap, I called to add a fourth to an already paid for tee time and was told the “MacLaine” party was booked at 1236. If I wanted to play it would have to be later and at 78 per person, regardless if I showed receipt for the 167.00 I paid the night before. Ultimately we enjoyed a round at 80 over at Caballeros. Truly let down on a Sunday morning SMH

My name is Jeff Harnasch and I am the Assistant General Manager at Wickenburg Golf Club. I would like to start by saying that you did not talk to any manager that morning. None of us were working that day. The ladies you talked to in the 4 phone conversations regarding your tee time are renowned for their friendliness.
The reservation that you are speaking of did not show up on our tee sheet until 10:37 AM that morning. It was a Hot Deal rate that we do not offer at our facility. It is a trade time that GolfNow sets the rate on and collects all fees. We do not book times at our course for rates that low and they must be booked through the third party to get that rate. Regarding your 4th player, a member-guest rate of $61 was offered to you by our staff. The $167 you paid "the night before" works out to just over $55. Our rack rate at that time was $76, not the $78 rate you claim to be quoted. I am disappointed that your experience was not favorable, but it was through no fault of ours.

I assume you meant to say greens were challenging, but given the current circumstances in the world, germs are proving to be our biggest challenge right now.

I will say again that this is one of my favorite courses around.
40 minute drive for me. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. The course is on great shape. ( It would be nice if you could dial back the wind a few MPH :) 3:45 mi. round

Beautiful Spot
This is a fun little course. You definitely need to know your yardages as club selection is key to scoring a good round. There are a lot of short holes but quite tricky. Very scenic views as you wind your way around the course.
Course was in excellent shape. We will be back for sure.

Tight fairways and fun
Bring your "A" game and you will be happy!, reccomend playing the forward tee boxes the first time to learn the course, fairways are in nice shape, short grass and hard. Greens were firm and a nice speed, not too fast and very smooth. If you get off track you will be ball hunting :) great course for the money, we will be back

Small town friendly
My partner and I had a miscommunication and he was going to be an hour late. I was concerned because it was a prepaid hotdeal time, non-refundable. The lady at the desk said no problem, that she would get us out when he got there, which she did. The course was in great condition. One of my favorites. I will keep going back.

Condition of the Course
The fairways were in great shape - I just had a hard time hitting them. The green were also in great shape even though they were smaller than most they had some interesting slopes.

Fabulous Greeens
My first time playing and what a course!
Greens were true country club greens- fast and perfect.
Fairways were in great shape - note- this course may be on the short side but is very challenging!
Narrow-ish fair ways, lots of doglegs and blind shots from the tee.
It is a bit of a drive from the metro area but I will do it GAIN TO PLAY THIS GREAT COURSE.

interesting golf course
very short golf course from the back tees(6300 yards)but played in howling winds of about 25 m.p.h. plus very narrow fairways that seemed to have a dogleg and blind shots on almost every hole plus every green had tiers in them also lots of water on the front nine holes this is a course that I will go back and play again worth the drive from phoenix metro area to play

Challenging and fun course!
Course is on the shorter side but that does not mean its easy! The fairways are on the narrow side with quite a few dog legs and open desert brush areas on the edges. Greens are small with some pretty good undulations. The course weaves its way through some rolling hills, lots of ups and downs but nothing too drastic. There were several water holes, dry wash areas to hit across and some bunkers around the greens. Overall condition was excellent!

We definitely give customers the feel of playing golf in the rugged old west. Fortunately, we do not restrict cart usage on the fairways.
