I have played courses all over the valley. This course which I have played several times ranks as good as any 5 star course. Fantastic course conditions with a great layout & beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Would like to see a beverage cart on the course but other than that you can't go wrong selecting this course for your next outing
Bring your A game.
Fairways r to narrow for trying to hit a driver. Cart paths are dusty n rough. Needs more vegetation removed from the sides of the fairways. Lost a lot of balls!
Thank you for playing at our facility and thank you for the review. You are not alone in your golf ball loss. Our course is definitely tight and requires some accuracy. Fortunately, it is not terribly long. We leave it up to the player to decide if the risk is worth the reward.
Beautiful and challenging course
Great course, great location for a super round. The fairways and greens were perfect, and the surrounding scenery was spectacular. Will definitely come back. Excellent value for the money.

Nice course with some challenging holes.
Lots of desert area surrounding the course. Some tough holes especially if playing the Blue or Whites.

Just a great track!
The more I play "Big Wick", the more I appreciate the design aspect of the course. There is an outstanding diversity in the holes. It has a little bit of everything. The pin placement can make a dramatic difference in how one would approach the hole. Just this alone allows each visit to become a unique experience.
Not just a walk in the park.
This course is definitely a shot makers course. It forces you to be strategic and can punish you if your your shot fails to match your plan. The number one handicap hole is nearly impossible to manage in par. The more I play this course the I am compelled to want to play it again just to see if I can cut just a stroke or two. It's got kind of an addictive challenge to it. There is no doubt that I will be back again to once more do battle with this track. Really nice people here.

Green
The fairways were in great shape same as the greens. Unique layout Fun to golf. Yes you can cut some of the corners.

One of my favorites
Wickenburg C.C. is a great course. I would call it a "hidden gem. Unlike many other Phoenix area courses, there are many elevation changes. It has a nice variety of holes, is reasonably priced, fantastic views, and friendly people. Pretty drive to get there, and a neat old mining/cowboy town to visit afterwards.

This course always manages to bite me lol! It's certainly tough enough for me, but I love how peaceful it is, and beautiful vista's as well!

What a Challenge
First time playing the course. Very impressed. Key to remember is you have to cut the corners on the blind shots and the fairways are wider than they look.
Also, what great views of the surrounding mountains!

Course lay outs are very interesting and friendly crews.
First time I played this course and I feel like I play at eastern states. Though the course conditions are not good at all but I enjoyed very much. Nest time I will play again I hope conditions to be better.

Teeing it up in the country is OK once in a while!
Course needs some work. White tees are less than 6,000 yards but drives have to be accurate. Some of the greens are very poor. Cart paths are all dirt and extremely rough and bumpy.
Compared to Los Caballeros Golf Club which is a few miles away, this course is not even close in condition and challenge.

Green a mess!
Most of the green were AWFUL! That's enough for me NOT to recommend until it's remedied. The fairways were in good shape coming off over-seeding. But many of the greens were barren or brown.
What a shame. We travel here (50 minutes) 4-5 times a year because we like the quirky layout. Pro Shop lady is cool as well.
Will be looking for improved conditions thru reviews before we venture here again.
We appreciate you making the effort to come out this way and apologize for the less than acceptable conditions at the time. I can assure you the conditions are vastly improved from when you last played. We would love for you to come back up and see for yourself.
