Industry Hills Golf Club at Pacific Palms Resort - Zaharias Course

Got stuck behind a tournament today. Worst players I’ve EVER SEEN on a course in front of us. If the tournament was “most balls in the trees” or “most botched shots”, these clowns would win.

The Marshall wouldn’t do anything about it. He simply said, “they paid a lot of money for this tournament.”

I paid $89 per player for our group, but I guess that price tag doesn’t mean anything. No indication that we were going to be behind a tournament before booking. No warning of pace of play by the starter.

Without any attempt to make this right from the Industry Hills people, I won’t be back.

The course was great, except for the friendliness of the staff.

This one Asian woman was very unprofessional, when asked why two people have to ride a cart she stated that there's an extra $30 to ride single and said " You don't have to play here, you can play somewhere else". No other courses does this even the more valuable courses you can choose to ride as a single. SHE SHOULD BE FIRED AND SHOULD NOT BE WORKING IN THIS INVIRONMENT!!!!

We tee’d off at 6:10 as a theeesome. There was another theeesome in front of us that played so slow.

I made the reservation the night before as a single and was paired up with great guys. I played a bit slower than I would have liked, but the weather made it tolerable.

Love Ike course, especially 2nd hole.

Great condition, great layout.

It's a pity the afternoon we played were waiting on tee box every holes after hole #6.

Marshall did come but nothing gets improved. It took more than 5 hours+ for that round.

Always enjoyable a well designed golf course.

Very challenging

The round at the Babe starts with an uncomfortable, narrow, blind tee shot that sets the tone for the entire day. Many tee boxes give a claustrophobic feeling where there is not much margin for error. Some landing areas are deceptively open and forgiving, while others are very penal and don't offer much room for an imperfect shot. The front nine begins with a long stretch of par 4's and the first "break" is a par three that measured over 250 yards to a back pin from the blue tees on Saturday. There are only three par fives and none offer a true scoring opportunity. It takes three solidly executed shots to earn a decent chance at birdie. The course is always in good condition and on this day it played at a surprisingly good pace. I'm not sure The Babe is my favorite course because it feels too narrow and is too penal and doesn't offer many great scoring chances for this single digit handicap. I enjoy being able to be creative and make recovery shots after going off line.
