Industry Hills Golf Club at Pacific Palms Resort - Zaharias Course

So, I like this course, both of them, and enjoy playing as they each have challenging aspects to them but with all the OB and tricky approach shots, dog legs, and relatively smallish greens, I would like to see them improve the areas around the greens. So many crab grass patches, dead areas, unattended traps and such are all fixable by the course management. Personally, I’d pay more for the green fees for a more playable around the green experience. I will say the greens were consistent and have received the attention I mention here but the other areas where you need to score are desperately in need of a rethink. Staff and everyone was super friendly albeit a bit overly-Covid restricted lol

While still dealing with the pandemic, the staff insisted that I ride with a complete stranger in the same cart; yet they (staff) are wearing masks, standing behind plexiglas with signs that request customers to stand 6-feet apart. Their only recommendation was to pay an additional $30 to get my own cart -- that's almost an additional 50% extra!

When I reached out to the management team, they indicated that this is due to the high cost of charging and maintaining the carts. They made no reference to the safety of the customers. Clearly putting their cost savings ahead of customer safety!

I've played a few tournaments on the Babe course and always enjoyed it. It was nice playing a round without "best ball". Very tight course and semi fast greens. Awesome conditions from fairway to green. Can't wait to play again.

Played the Babe course. The course presented fun challenges. There are a lot of dog legs, bunkers, elevation changes and water that command distance control. The course is well maintained and plays as a top resort course should play....oh and the greens are quick.
