bumpy road
I would avoid shoreline until they fix fairways. All are in bad shape from overuse and under maintained. driving a cart around here the clubs nearly jump out of the bag. Bone jarring. No one monitors the pace of play and groups back up behind singles. Not good. It should be the opposite. I would expect this course to close soon given they do no care ordo not have the $$ to fix things.
2 holes (2nd/12th) were shorten due to repair
Course in good condition and pace also good because played in fron of 4 ladies.
Shoreline review
Course is in need of some help- greens are ok
Tee boxes, fairways, bunkers are not good- Shoreline has never been able to fix the gopher and squirrel problem- holes everywhere.
I know now why it was only $30 to play
twilight round
a 5:20 tee time...enough time to walk 9, solo and enjoy the weather and some practice time...priceless...all for $20 bucks!!
Poorly kept course
There were 3 greens that looked like fairway.
Temporary greens were horrible. Just 10-12 in diameter. There was so much construction going on the course. It was not play ready.
It was not worth it at all...!
Was very disappointed with the condition of the course.
I pay $40 at spring valley and SV is a beatiful course, well kept greens and fairways!
I should really get a refund for the round I played.
rude staff
I booked a tea time through golfnow at $27. I thought I got a good deal But when I checked in, the staff asked me if I was 17 years old . No I’m 54. By the way; Why he is asking it? He said it’s for Junior. I said I don’t know about it because I booked through Golfnow. He asked again if I’m 17. I said ‘No’. He said I should pay $51. I used Golfnow for long time and didn’t have any issue. After all, I paid $51 and was not happy. When I went outside, I heard some players who were standing at the counter talking about me like I tried to pay junior rate. At the moment, I was very embarrassed and felt like being humiliated. And I realized that I might be considered as a bad man because of the staff’s rude behavior. The staff should have blamed the reservation system, not me. It was one of my most horrible experiences and I will not visit Shoreline again.
Sad state of conditions @shoreline
Is there a greens keeper. Place look like it was deserted. And huge tax $$$. No investment of impact. Sad.
Too slow pace
Two greens were under renovation resulting in temporary greens. Super slow pace by 4 couples in two teams who couldn't hit longer than 100 yards with drivers & 50 yards with other clubs. Even they didn't care about the efficiency nor rule for pace.
We needed wait 4~5 minutes per every shot.
And the green was a little slow as well.
