Like the chorus very much the layout is great there's trouble if you don't hit it straight I would definitely recommend playing it
Not long, but very challenging
If you are looking for course with a little bite and a course with natural beauty, Indian Valley is for you. Though I have played it many times, I have never found myself not wanting to play it again. The views of the hillsides and of Stafford lake are outstanding... Highly recommend.

If the greens were in good shape, it would have been excellent. The greens had been recently sanded.
This course is always good fun and a challenge
Even when you book a HOT Deal on Golf Now this still isn't that cheap unless you walk,it NEVER includes a cart so tack on another 15.00 each.Besides that this course layout rocks using most all clubs in your bag.Numerous elevation changes with doglegs,sloped fairways,uphill fairways,downhill fairways,double greens and not for the faint at heart.I love the challenge it administers and the beer at the end of the ninth before the real challenge starts.
No aeration alert
They were punching several greens right in front of us for several holes and sanded others in large machines. It looked like a construction zone. After 12 holes we had enough. We went back to pro shop and Marvin helped us out with vouchers. I dont know why golf now had no aeration alert when we booked on a hot deal.. They have a great and friendly staff.
Epic Day
Lost about 15 balls after 27 holes, but I eagled the 5th so life is good.
What were the designers thinking with Indian Valley?

It has been twenty years since I played at Indian Valley, and NOTHING has changed. AND, that is a "good thing."
Great course for the average 12 handicap golfer. Challenging, yet fun...Beautiful views...
IndianValley A Plus
Great Time playing Indian Valley in February. The course is well maintained and fun because of its beautiful scenery as well as interesting layout. It is not a flat track so the hills make for very challenging up hill, side hill, or down hill shots. This is great for knowledge gaining of different types shots. Sometimes pace of play slows down on the back nine though.
great day at iv
was a bit windy but sun was out and great cali winter day. course was in great shape and greens were fast, some faster than others. be careful the wind was so hard it was raining acorns or some kind of seed or large pollen. one green was covered but i still made my 5footer. elevator is a super bonus for the boot camp walk, except you better open the door at the top and take pics because it will go down by itself w/you in it. we rode it twice because we were taking great pics at the top inside the elevator. great day
Interesting layout
I'm a 17 handicap who had a good round with a 11 over par 83.. Beautiful day with quiet surroundings with rolling hills. Temp about 80F in Feb. Greens were good but challenging, bunkers could have had more sand. #9 t box under construction so it was a par 3. Some holes noisy due to tree trimming. I met a first time at IV golfer who loved the course. He wants to come back with his friends.
