Green Tree Golf Course

I have played this course many times over the years and the same downside persist. To wet and to many trespassers on the course. For years staff said the course was to wet because of an antique irrigation and drainage system. They supposedly fixed that years ago, but in many ways it is still to wet, mostly in landing area which cost distance. Overall I like the course layout just not where it is laude out. To many of the local transients and residents walk all over the course in dangerous and or distracting spots. It’s a muni with its hassles but over all it’s a challenge so I continue to play it.

Played solo, great weather decided to play last minute. Played in 2 hours, had a couple groups that happily let me play through. Greens were in great shape, rolled true with pretty good speed. What a great day.

Course was in great condition . The only problem was the winds . Gust up to 25 miles an hour can play havoc on game . but it was great to get out of the house

Fairways are in good shape, greens are in very good shape, bunkers are in ok shape, and roughs are what they should be. Only complaint about today was our cart, duct tape seats and sluggish, just glad we made it around.

Greentree is usually a fun day of golf. Today the greens were in very nice condition after aeration about six weeks ago. Pace of play was excellent, we didn’t get slowed up until the last few holes, and no one was behind us waiting either. Alex, the course manager, is a great guy. Eat before you play as the snack bar/bar does not really cater to golfers.

Good day for golf. Temp high 70's. No wind. Started out sunny then overcast.

The fairways are coming around great.

Greens in excellent shape after aerating.

Bunkers full of sand (had plenty of opportunity to check them out).

The rough on each side of the fairways is filling in nicely as well.

Great course, friendly staff, can't wait to play again.

I would like to say that Alex in the pro shop was by far the most friendly, and helpful pro shop attendant I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with.

The golf course was consistent with the good conditions, fairways and greens.

Overall a great time, would definitely drive out there and play again.

This course is a challenging set up, but is fair if you keep it in the fairway. My main complaint about the condition is they have allowed the weeds to grow all over the place just off the fairways. 3 ‘ tall in most places.

My other problem is the course is constantly invaded by trespassers. They are the locals who think it’s just a big park. They are confrontational and ignorant. The experience would be way more enjoyable if these issues were addressed

For being a cold day it was fun. The course was good and with no one on the course , it went fast

Great outing, course was in the best shape I have seen. Can't wait to get out and swing the clubs again.

Course was in great shape. The greens were medium in speed until they dried out then they got fast. The greens putt true to your read. Pace of play was excellent. The clubhouse staff and course maintenance crew we're friendly and courteous. I would recommend this course to anyone who likes the game of golf.

Best bang for the buck. Worth the drive. Friendly staff.

Good green conditions, players were kind to allow a twosome to pass them. Great pace of play.

Great value compared to down the hill courses that overcharge!

It would have been nice to know that the greens were still recovering from aeration and that some of the fairways were being repaired as well. Local coarse that just gets abused by most of the locals.

Golf course is in pretty good shape.
