Good course !!
The course layout is interesting and fairways are mostly flat and wide. Little changes in level and funny crossing of some creeks. I felt comfortable to play. Pro shop staff was very kind.
Terrible
Three groups backed up at every tee box. All the water hazards have been drained. Terrible course.
Hidden Gem off the beaten path
Have played this course 3 times this year and course conditions are usually pretty good. Its a good value and not too far to drive if you live in the Inland Empire. Between the fairway lined trees the course is in pretty good shape but there are some desert areas outside the fairways and between holes that could be cleaned up. The greens were not as in good shape as they were when we played there during the summer. Pictures attached are from July 2020
Great condition
After playing so many courses with bad tee boxes, bad fairways and iffy greens, it was nice to see a course well maintained.
Average conditions but challenging course
Course was in decent shape , greens were excellent. Pace of play was rough since for some reason there was literally a group of about 10 on #1 at our tee time .We skipped ahead a couple holes and was fine . Challenging course for sure but not worth the extra $10-$15 compared to most local courses for us . .
Bring a chainsaw.
If you spray the ball, or you on the wrong side of the fairway, you will test the trees are 90% air theory. Trust me, trees are not 90% air for moving golf balls. Fairways are generous if you are the correct side of the dozens of trees overhanging the fairways. This megga challenging course does not forgive anything accept maybe over the green. If you spray and dont hit a tree, you will be in garbage scrub and desert looking for your ball. Remember the 3 minute rule.
Greens are good and undulating, roll true and hold well. Practive your chipping. You will need it. Fairways are generally good.
The PGA Tour did not play there in the late 50s early 60s for nothing
