prefect day for golf
Over all , The Fee , course and weather was perfect for me. Definitely i like to go back.
Dirt bunkers
Tee boxes were shabby. Not sand bunkers but dirt. Way to much garbage around. Golf carts are small. Just not a pleasant experience
Nice old course
I have been playing this course for years . Always a fun and challenging course. Some of the tee boxes could use some work but overall a good course.
Punch and run
The front side had a couple of holes where the fairways were washed out with sand. Lot of rain recently so thats probably why. Definitely need to keep it in the fairway or you're into some sandy hard pan. Thought the back side was in better shape. It was a windy day so hit a lot of punch and runs. The greens were firm and rolled true. Clubhouse has a lot of photos showing the history of the course. Challenging for sure.
Grounds crew putting in a lot of work, can’t wait for springtime, everything is looking great 👍
Nice
Greens are looking really good and course it’s self is not bad, green keepers have been doing a lot of maintenance work. Looking Good!!
Not going back here.
Was delayed 2 hrs for a frost delay. Not too sure why there are even tee times available knowing what the weather will be. Hole 3 was in horrible condition.
After the storms
Many downed trees need to be cleared away out of sight. Bunkers packed down because they are mostly dirt, not sandy at all. Dead trees from beetles (or mistletoe) that are still standing are not a good look. Hopefully they will be cut down and removed. Why is there no water in the lakes?
Greens are in very good shape. Rough length is reasonable . At the end of the day it is still a classic golf course worth playing but it is just looking rough around the edges.
Course conditions get a little better every time I go
Very accessible course
I love this course for what it is, a $30 course. Greens were in good shape, big washes run through the course adding some sand and partial grass roughs, sandtraps were 50/50. This felt like a real locals kind of spot which was great.
