Conditions were awesome
It’s a public course but the conditions were like a high end private course . Faiwways cut nice and tight greens were perfect about 10/11 on the stimp . Whole course was just super . As a 45 year pha pro now retired it sure was a great place to play only thing bad was the course Marshall was telling us to keep up when the group ahead was on the green and we were waiting to hit our shots on the green very rude and pushy need a course in how to treat people . But other than that it was a great day
Walked last five holes
Round was fine, just glad to be playing! Had a 3:15 tee time and my cart died on hole 14. Club house was closed, no one answered the phone so had to walk the rest! Not fun! I don’t think I’ll be back.

PGA quality greens in Apple Valley
As an Ohioan driving from Las Vegas to LA, I found Apple Valley to be a nice choice! Great greens! Pure and so fast. Mike and Shaun were great to work with on the tee time. I meant up with another single and really enjoyed my round. Worth the trip to and from Vegas!
Awesome Winter Conditions!!
It was another great day at the Apple Valley course. The course is always well maintained despite the typical winter conditions in the high desert. If your looking for the best bang for your dollar, this place is it.
It was business as usual playing but I'm tired o fixing divots on the greens left by the lazy golfers or the chubby onesw who don't want to bend over but if they can get their ball out of the cup the can fix their divots
Great Day for Golf
We played this course with a tee off time of 12 and a temp of 47 with a slight breeze but within an hour the breeze quit and the sun came out and temp went to 58, perfect day for a round. The course was almost empty, we only saw 2 other foursomes. The course is in great shape, greens were really fast we all had a great time. Staff was great too!
You'll want to play again at Apple Valley GC
Apple Valley is a typical municipal course with tree-lined fairways side-by-side. There are plenty of gaps between the trees to get back in play. The rough is almost non-existent and easy to play from.
From October thru March, Apple Valley is a challenge. The good news is the fairways are hard like linoleum and with a bit of tail wind, you'll hit the longest drives of your life. The bad news is the greens are too. Don't expect to fly your ball to the green and have it take a seat. The best bet is to land short and run up to the pin. Use your "Texas Wedge" to putt from just off the green. Look at it like a test of your course management skill.
Take a trip to the high desert and play Apple Valley. The temperature in the summer is usually 10-degrees cooler than down the hill, there's no smog, and the course is lush.
Nice greens but thats about it
Played this course on the way through town. and it does not look like the pictures. The greens were in great shape but everything else left something to be desired. There was a fair amount of dirt around, dry fairways, and rocky traps. The holes didn't have much variation and many of them were just straight holes. Overall not a fan of this course
Played tuesday @ 1pm course not crowded. Finished 18 holes in just over 3 hrs. Awesome day 85 degrees. Course in good condition. Will be back.
I have actually played this course now about 5 times. I come up and visit my parents from Orange County and I was surprised and excited to find such a fun gem in the desert.
Challenging game of Golf
fairways and greens were in good condition. Hard to know where to drive to get to the next hole. signage between holes needs to be addressed. No water on the course or drinking fountains in club house was rough. Golf cart moved very slow the entire round. Had a good time with friends and would play it again.
AV golf
A very nice place to play. Well taken care of. Challenging, but not so much so as less than very good golfers can’t gave fun. Not overrun by the idiot “golfers” with no respect for the course or the game.
Nice course
Course in good condition. Greens were in better condition then the fairways.
The course is in good condition. Greens were slower then normal. Maintenance staff does not know how to get out of the way most of the time and are a distraction mowing in front and behind during shots. Over all a enjoyable round
Great Day In Apple Valley
What a nice day for golf. A sunny 74 degrees and zero wind. All fairways are in the suspected winter condition, thin dried grass with a good amount of roll after carry.
As usual the greens were in good shape and rolled true to your read. Pace of play was great at 3hrs for 18.
