Remington Golf Club

Last time I was there in April, I had decided to give one more chance to Remington to redeem itself as the course conditions were beyond terrible! After I played the full 18 holes on June 1st, I have promised myself not to go back to Remington until after I start seeing good remarks consistently from another players. I am afraid it will be long time away as all of the 18 greens are in horrific shape, they have weeds on them, sandy bold patches on them and your ball is hopping like a rabbit over these areas. Entire course needs greens replaced! yes, re-done with fresh seeds. My tee time was for $40.99 and now, I regret that I spent on Remington!

If you play every neighborhood course in Orlando, when you come to Remington it will feel like you’ve been here before. There’s nothing wrong with that but on the day I played here the greens were burned and punched. Bunker was hard packed like clay. Everyone I met there was super pleasant. Clubhouse is nice. I asked for food they have hot dogs and snacks and stuff. It was cheap perfect for practice but if you’re working on improving your handicap you’re going to wonder if it was your lines or the greens that made you miss putts.

Much needed rainfall, in the central Florida area has dramatically helped this course develop some grass. The greens are still lumpy end without grass in certain areas. There are also mixtures of weeds. However, they appear to be rolling the greens and they are generally smooth short. You cannot beat the price.

I have played at Remington many times and we were very disappointed in the way the course looked and the greens were really bad and not taken care of.

wow - the bunkers filled with weeds, the greens were covered in sand and un-putt-able.... should have passed until the conditions improved.

They need to take better care of greens and tees. But i will play again

As the title says this is a no frills course….no in cart gps, no refreshment cart and you pretty much load your own bag on the cart. The course is in okay shape considering the lack of rain in Orlando in the past few months however some of the greens were a bit barren, the fairways did have some weed intrusion and the rough was rough. However if you are looking for a quick round just to work on your game or have some fun then this is your course. Water is everywhere and the bunkers in front of the greens make you think hard before you swing. Staff was friendly and eager to tell you about the course and what to expect. I’d give it another try if I was once again in the area.

Overall, the golf course has a beautiful layout with wide fairways. But the putting greens are in very bad conditions. It is a good golf course for beginners.

Not always a good time when greens are aerating. Overlooking that- we had great fun on the course. Lots of water, welcome to Florida) and bunkers that could get you in trouble. Beautiful view and friendly atmosphere. We had a fast round early morning and finished in 2 1/2 hours. Great scores in the front and back. A couple of birdies are always good.

The greens, fairways and bunkers were in grave need of some work. It was hard to find a place on the fairway that had grass under your ball.

It looks much better on photos than in real. It was very dry with hard fairways. Greens were yellowish, fast, but bumpy. I woul better spend more for better quality. No marshall, it was extremelly slow round.

Played here a couple month ago and couldn’t wait to get back. Now is it a dry desert of a course. They must rely on rain for water. One green was 100% brown and looked like a crop circle. One tee box was basically a sand trap spray painted green.

Greens were filled with weed patches.

Won’t be back until we start getting some rain.
