Overall the course was fun to play. There are a few long par 5’s but the course wasn’t too challenging. Only one or two holes that doglegged a little bit. The course conditions could have definitely been better. Bunkers were very hard sand with a lot of puddles in them. Greens were VERY sandy, and if you played early, your putter would be covered in sand each time you put it down, same with your ball. There were random water hazards in the fairways from poor upkeep, but they are easy to see and play around. Beware if you have an early tee time and have a high ball flight - your ball will come down and bury itself in the fairways and almost get covered up completely by the soft/wet grass & dirt. Bring extra balls cause they are very hard to find even if you see it land from the tee box.

Also, food is pricey - $5 for a basic hot dog and your typical golf course 6 pack special for $20+.

Even with all of that, I’d still play it again if there is a deal, just not in the morning as the grass is very wet and doesn’t dry up until after mid day.

I would recommend because of course layout and cost mostly.

Overall the fairways are in good condition. The greens were sandy and need some attention.

Layout good but course requires serious investment.

Bunkers are poor and greens have been treated so unfair to judge.

Little details like no water in the ball washers. Even if investment a problem in these challenging times, that is simply a matter of organisation and pride.

Lakes need airiating as water stagnant, impacting on wildlife, which has been a historic feature of the course.

It’s a shame because the potential is enormous.

I recommend this course because of the friendly staff and their well maintained course. I look forward to playing it again. We were rained out after just three holes and the staff didn’t hesitate to refund the unused playtime for a future date. Thank you guys, I look forward to becoming a frequent player of your course.

The course is in good shape overall with exception of the greens and bunkers. Greens are bumpy and sandy due to maintenance with bare spots too. Bunkers are very firm with a few now being a water hazard from recent rain downpours. Weather was great and the staff is fantastic.

This was a one and done for us. We had a local resident out walking in and out of fairways and near greens looking for water balls. He was even standing on the tee box pulling balls from the water while people were teeing off. We had two other guys, (we assume residents), they dropped about 5-6 balls each and were hitting from their back yard into one of the greens. We had multiple singles just driving around jumping on empty tee boxes. We had just teed off on a hole and as we got in our cart to drive away and here comes one of the singles cutting across the fairway to jump on the tee box in front of the group behind us.

Two recommendations for the course; you need some weed control and let a few seniors get a few free rounds of golf in to be Rangers. Maybe you would not have lost our business. We liked the layout but the condition of the course and the lack of any rangers left us with a bad round. There are so many great courses in town, we will take our money elsewhere.

Very nice staff, course layout and fairways. Greens have some issues, but very playable. This course is big boy golf. Therefore, bring your A game!!
