About
The National course is a classic American-style layout that rolls through 200 acres of southern woodlands and wetlands. Unique bunkering, tree-lined fairways and intriguing green designs define shot making challenges. In particular, golfers are apt to remember the National for its testing par 3 holes and for the double green shared by holes 4 & 16.

Slow and ok conditions
Course is decent, good layout pace of play was painfully slow and we tee’d off before 8. Greens were very wet / soggy, fairways also. Couple of ruts in the fairway and balls would plug even on the fairways sometimes. I know it’s been raining a lot so a slight pass for that. Maybe this course will be a ton better when it dries out.

Classy golf outing
You get what you pay for. Champions Gate isn't cheap, but it plays like the deluxe course that it is. From when you arrive, when you're greeted by name and your clubs are whisked away to be loaded on a cart, you know this ain't no goat track. The course itself is lovely. A few houses dot a handful of holes, but it's a very quiet golf outing overall. The course plays long. Bring your bug spray, and stay out of the tall rough (snakes).

Amazing deal!
Anytime you can play Championsgate for under $100 DO IT! We got on for $70 and it included range balls. Driving range is great but practice green/short game area was closed for maintenance. Understandable in summer but starter directed us to small green near international first tee. It was acceptable. Course conditions were great but rough was very deep. Miss the fairway and you'll pay dearly. Pace of play was ok for resort golf 4.5 hours but that was expected. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Overall I can't give less than 5 stars considering how great conditions were for central Florida golf in August.

Very good but liked International better.
Excellent condition. Greens slower than International and layouts of the course is somewhat crammed....

Great tee to green, decent greens
First time playing the National at Champions Gate. I definitely prefer the International but the National is a good course. The greens were spotty but otherwise conditions were quite good. I imagine the greens will be high quality in a couple weeks. Happy to play it but if given the choice I'd choose the International course.
