About
The National course is a classic American-style layout that rolls through 200 acres of southern woodlands and wetlands. Unique bunkering, tree-lined fairways and intriguing green designs define shot making challenges. In particular, golfers are apt to remember the National for its testing par 3 holes and for the double green shared by holes 4 & 16.

Early Saturday Round
First one off the tee on a recent Saturday! Overseeding of tees, fairways and greens looked great against the dormant Bermuda rough. Course in excellent shape. Greens putted great and the overall experience was exceptional from start to finish. Highly recommend.
Challenging layout with many bunkers, overseeded fairways
A challenging layout with lots of bunkers, some in the middle of the fairway, several holes with bunkers on one side and water on the other. Over-seeded fairways were nice, greens were average in speed and receptive to hold shots.

Great course value for money
Picturesque course conditions...you cannot find fault on any fairway or greens. The rough is all brown and it adds contrast to fairways. If you going to find fairways on every shot its absolutely stunning for approach shots. Will play again.

Everything you could ask
Played the National course at Championsgate on a Wednesday afternoon in December. The course is in fabulous shape from tee to green. The greens are pristine and rolling at perfect speed. Best greens we played on a 4 day trip that included 2nd place Panther Lake OCN, 3rd place Reunion Nicklaus, 4th place but still very good Harmony Preserve. There are some wet spots still from all the rain, but the course looks great and plays perfect. I would recommend this course to anyone looking to have a fun day of golf. It is a very getable course from the whites, but could challenge anyone from the tips. Good food and service at the bar, not that there was anyone else there. Staff all very friendly. Carts have accurate gps. Range included. Great day!!

Friendly layout - excellent conditions make for good scoring
Champions Gate is first rate course - easy to get to, great service, and reasonable price. And then there is excellent fairway grass, wide open driving areas, and billiard table smooth greens. You'll post a ggod score here and have fun doing it!
