ChampionsGate Golf Club - National

Today was my first time ever playing this course and I was extremely satisfied. Both the staff and the course were absolutely amazing!! The beer cart ladies were a life saver too and I saw them 4 times during the round. This place will take good care of you. The pace of play was great at just over 3 hours start to finish and the course condition was immaculate. A round of golf here is well worth the price for the outstanding experience you receive. I will be back!

Track had just reopened and was in great shape. Greens were tricky, very nice but not as fast as they looked. Included range balls, and staff was friendly. Bring your A game cause this course is harder than International.

Very good layout in excellent condition. Greens were a bit slower than usual which brought more grain into play, but they rolled well and true.A very enjoyable day of golf.

These are strange times, but I got The Big ....to play golf! ChampGate is a great facility to practice & play 2 outstanding resort courses, plus the CGCC is newest, but awesome. Not many players on this day, thus play/practice w/o worry & still done in 3hrs. National in great shape, especially great greens. Good Par5's, especially #18. Thanx to GN for discounted rates this time of year amidst CoronaV shutdowns. The staff was professional & allowed 1p to a cart. Great day @ CG National!

The two courses are in spectacular shape. Fairways are beautiful. Greens played well!

We had a great day. Our tee time was 7:40 and we were paired with another couple that are members of ChampionsGate. It was a beautiful day - the staff was super friendly. The course was in excellent shape. The layout, with lots of bunkers that come into play (trust me), was fair but also enough of a challenge. We played in 3 hrs 45 minutes. Perfect. Everything went smoothly - valet service was fast and efficient.

It was an amazing experience from the moment we drove up until we left. Can’t wait to vacation here again and play some more

Course was great, but pace of play was slow. The last 5 holes were played behind a 6some.

Played with great golfers. They let me play off the senior tees and were very receptive. Had a fun day.

What stands out about this course is the subtle differences that make it superior to cookie cutter Florida courses. An excellent mixture of long and short 3s, 4s and evening 5 par 5s, a couple reachable in 2; a couple not so much. Absolutely you will use all of your clubs in your bag, and all the various skills in your arsenal. The course is well kept and beautiful, the residential housing is not right on top of the fairways, so kudos to the developers for that. The support facilities and personnel are top notch. The only thing that detracted from the experience was the group that kept hitting into us on the last few holes. It was a long round with a lot of waiting, but hey you’re in Orlando at the February break. It was a group of members of the club, I found out after the round who slunk away before I could confront them. That shows their lack of character. There are jerks at every club, but if you’re going to resent the public playing your course go join a truly private club. If you want low dues at your club don’t hit into the people who are subsidizing you. Other than that I strongly recommend making this course a stop on your golf trip.

Played the sister course of the International the day after. Greens are definitely not true to the practice green. Much slower. I would suggest playing the course if you are on vacation and haven’t tried it before. I believe in giving all courses a chance at least once. Maybe after playing the International first and with it’s true green speed and conditions resembling my home course, I was expecting the same conditions but different layout. Overall, the staff, practice range and customer service was top notch. The course just didn’t meet up to my expectations.

Great course. Not cheap but condition of rough ,fairways and greens warrant the cost. The staff at the pro shop and starting ,finishing area were outstanding. That was the third time I've played here in the last two years. Fourth time will be next month.

The course was in great shape, The staff was very friendly and the greens were fast but fair.

Definitely on our list next time we come back.
