Idk, I think AH is a better course than Cherokee Run. I love them both but the edge goes to AH. Although its a bit more of a challenge and the icy greens will leave you cringing, the overall condition is worth the longer drive from the city.

Played yesterday and was amazed at the condition of the course. I don't live to close, but it was worth the trip! Staff was awesome! Great course even though my score did not show it! Lol

Greens were OUTSTANDING!

The course was a little wet from rain the night before but it was still in great condition. I never had a bad shot if I drove in the fairway and most areas outside the fairways were in very good shape. The course layout was challenging and rewarding when you went for the risky shot. The greens were in great shape for a few weeks removed from aerification and the reads and rolls were true and smooth. I would definitely recommend this course to others and I plan to play it again.

I played a great round on the front nine. Everything was in great condition speed of play was fine to excellent.

Tee box and greens were just aerated and sanded but they did a great job. Greens are true and fast.

This course has been around under at least three different names. The new owners really know what they are doing agronomically - the course is in excellent condition and is a classic Desmond Muirhead track. We've played at another of his courses in Cherokee County (Bridgemill) and know that he was a part of the original Nicklaus design team for Muirfield Village. A couple of the par 3s definitely had a Muirhead "stamp" on them. The pace of play was perfect - played in just under 4 hours for the 3 of us. We will return often. Outstanding value for the "Hot Deal" price we paid!
